 Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Minimum two (2) years' of clerical experience and record keeping with one (1) year public contact and telephone work required. Dispatching experience preferred. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Monitors operations system performance to identify and resolve problems while ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. A few examples, but not all-inclusive, would be late/early pull-out, Route OTP, route adherence, vehicle location, current route(s) etc.</li><li>
Responds to incoming calls on the radio as received to coordinate information regarding on-street operations. Takes immediate action after calls are received to ensure t h e personal safety of bus operators, other employees, and passengers.</li><li>
Gathers relevant information, communicates, and prepares written reports for accidents and incident occurrences to assess unusual conditions, injuries, or excessive property damage.</li></ul><ul><li>
Ensures work is aligned in accordance with the collective bargaining unit agreement.</li><li>
Answers incoming calls to RideKC Flex, explains how the service operates and informs the caller how to access it.</li><li>
Collects, coordinates, and communicates daily to ensure effective and efficient operation including subscriber, reservation and service request information, and schedules trips and cancellations daily to accurately maintain the Flex database accurately.</li><li>

 Serving as the main point of contact between drivers, customers and other internal teams.  Problem-solving

 Transportation Associate Coordination
 
 . This position is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring transportation activities to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods. The Transportation Dispatcher plays a critical role in daily logistics operations, serving as the primary point of contact between drivers, carriers, and internal teams. This role requires close coordination to manage transportation schedules, address operational challenges, and proactively resolve transportation issues as they arise, ensuring continuity of service and adherence to company standards.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Working Shift: Sunday through Thursday 10pm &ndash; 6am
 </li>
 <li>
 Daily production of the Bid Board and the awarding of runs to Drivers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Daily review of Driver DOT trip reports, editing and creating reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitoring Drivers DOT Hours of Service and available hours.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicating with Drivers on Dispatch instructions and changes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinating with DC Leads appointments and trailer requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinating and instructing lease Drivers as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinating the Florida Doubles operation and Networking Hub with Traffic Drivers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Daily communication with Drivers to review service needs and requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all inbound and outbound loads are delivered on time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicating with Warehouse Leads on load status.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consistent and effective communication by email and telephone.
 </li>
 <li>
 Tracking and maintaining trailer and tractor inventory.
 </li>
 <li>
 All other duties as assigned by Resource

 Compensation and Benefits:

 The expected compensation range for this position is between $39,500 - $63,100.
 </li>
 <li>

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 This position will require extensive computer experience, organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or with others. Extensive verbal communication skills are needed to support daily coordination with Drivers and other Logistics Centers. Computer systems that will be utilized include Excel, DPS, and SAP system. General knowledge of both Department of Transportation regulations / Hours of Service and logistic or transportation experience is preferred.
 </li>

 Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service - preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 High School Diploma or GED required
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience - preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 DOT Drug/Alcohol Certification Skills preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong math and analytical skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
