JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</div><ul><li>
Lead architectural discovery and requirements definition by partnering with business and technology stakeholders to define business objectives, scope, success criteria, and develop business case justifications for technology initiatives.</li><li>
Own the decomposition of business architecture into epics, features, and user stories, ensuring alignment with target-state architecture, non-functional requirements, and platform standards; collaborate with Tech Leads and SRE teams during sprint planning, backlog prioritization, refinement, and release planning.</li><li>
Prepare, maintain, and present Technology Review Board (TRB) artifacts, including Initial Design Review business justification, Production Release Review documentation, and Major Architecture Modification impact assessments to support architectural governance and decision-making.</li><li>
Develop and maintain architecture-aligned documentation including business and system process flows, BRDs, FRDs, logical and physical architecture views, integration diagrams, and supporting user documentation and training materials.</li><li>
Partner with the Product Security Leader to define security architecture requirements, document application data flows, contribute to threat modeling, and ensure implementation of application-specific security and privacy controls.</li><li>
Collaborate with the Business Unit Risk Manager (BURM) to assess regulatory and compliance impacts on solution architecture, contribute to risk registers, and support control design and audit evidence for architectural controls.</li><li>
Define and validate architectural non-functional requirements including SLAs, SLOs, resiliency, performance, and availability; coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and lead post-implementation architectural reviews to confirm alignment with target-state outcomes.</li><li>
Define vendor and third-party architectural requirements, including integration patterns and SLA expectations; support vendor onboarding, architecture alignment reviews, and business change management activities including training and adoption planning.</li></ul><div></div><div>

<p><b>Must have skills</b> <b>: Application development background with fixed-bid delivery experience</b></p><p><b>US SLED/Public Sector experience is a plus!</b></p><p><b>Job Description</b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p>Project Management</p><ul><li>Manage various critical aspects of a project: scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, risks and communication</li><li>Manage timely, high-quality, and cost-effective service delivery to the client</li><li>Identify business needs of the client, act as an interface between the technical team and the client</li><li>Create project plan to track progress, plan timelines and share with client</li><li>Work with the Architect and Technical Lead to prioritize and track new functionality and ongoing releases</li><li>Provide support during Validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases with the client team to ensure all business requirements are met</li><li>Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on project progress</li><li>Manage project dependencies and critical path, track project timelines and milestones</li><li>Work with QA and Documentation teams to ensure success of the total project</li><li>Maintain overall schedule, timeliness of the team&rsquo;s deliverables</li></ul><p>Resource Management</p><ul><li>Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work</li><li>Ensure that each team member has adequate skills and knowledge on technology, project management and software engineering processes</li><li>Reward and recognize performance</li><li>Identify and resolve any outstanding issues among the project teams, that cannot be resolved within the team</li></ul><p>Relationship Management</p><ul><li>Obtain and Communicate the Client&rsquo;s feedback on project progress and success factors to the project team and other stakeholders</li><li>Identify farming opportunities</li><li>Lead the project initiation activity</li><li>Work with Project Manager to drive growth, quality and customer satisfaction</li></ul><p>Internal Collaboration</p><ul><li>Ensure regular collaboration with senior management, Project Manager and project stakeholders at client</li><li>Ensure proper handover from sales to delivery</li><li>Change Management - review/approve changes affecting scope, timing, cost, and/or quality, as required</li></ul><p>Escalation Management</p><ul><li>Be the point of escalation for all delivery related issues</li></ul><p>Risk Management</p><ul><li>Monitor risks, develop and execute risk mitigation plan with the project manager, at completion of every major milestone including project closure</li><li>Provide management oversight as predicated by review of the project risk analysis</li></ul><p>Project Profitability / Finance</p><ul><li>Ensures the profitability of the project/s</li><li>Review and close project account and financial files on project closure</li></ul><p>Quality Management</p><ul><li>Ensure the quality of the deliverables and client satisfaction</li><li>Understand the expectations of various stakeholders and seeks to satisfy them: client, users, governance group, senior management, team, support groups</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>10+ years of project management experience and fixed-bid projects</li><li>PMP certification required</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines</li><li>Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)</li><li>Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocations, especially in fixed-bid environments</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, IT, or a related field</li><li><b>Preferred Skills:</b></li><li>Experience in consulting or professional services industries</li><li>Familiarity with software development projects</li><li>Understanding of public sector compliance and procurement processes</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul><p>Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10007</p>
