Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<div><b>Instructional Delivery &amp; Course Management</b></div><ul>
<li>Facilitate all assigned class hours&mdash;on campus, online, or hybrid&mdash;professionally and in alignment with the academic calendar.</li>
<li>Create student-ready, accurate, and professional syllabi that meet Faculty Syllabus Checklist requirements.</li>
<li>Develop, administer, and assess meaningful assignments and learning activities aligned with program outcomes, general education competencies, and the College&rsquo;s Quality Enhancement Plan.</li>
<li>Begin and end classes on time and maintain full instructional hours.</li>
<li>Communicate promptly with the division chair in the event of illness or emergencies.</li>
<li>Create, administer, and assess assignments that promote critical thinking.</li>
<li><ul><li>Post and maintain required office hours each semester.</li></ul></li>
<li>Provide alternative learning activities for students during instructor absences.</li>
<li>Adhere to all college policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain and safeguard instructional equipment and supplies.</li>

<li>Participate in institutional effectiveness planning, including identifying learning outcomes and using assessment results for improvement.</li>

<li>Integrate generative AI and workplace-relevant AI tools appropriately into curriculum, instruction, and assignment design.</li>

<li>Utilize instructional technology&mdash;including LMS tools, analytics, and AI-enhanced teaching aids&mdash;to improve engagement and learning outcomes.</li></ul><div><br>
