Upward Bound is seeking applicants to fill Instructor positions for our annual 6-week summer program; June 8th &ndash; 26th 2026, July 6th &ndash; 24th 2026. Selected applicants may start as soon as May 26th 2026, or as agreed upon to begin course planning and cover other administrative duties. Courses will be taught in-person at the Peoria Campus of Illinois Central College. Students take 4 courses each day between 9am - 3pm, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, Field Trips on Wednesdays, and 9am-12pm on Fridays for 6 weeks. Instructor schedules are negotiable. The following constitutes an employment agreement between the college and faculty member and is contingent upon student enrollment and the authority provided by the Board of Supervisors for the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS). Faculty member agrees to fulfill the following responsibilities.<br>

 I. TEACHING AND DIRECT INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES</p><p>
1. Perform all instructional responsibilities in accordance with the role, scope, and mission of the College.<br>
 2. Adhere to designated schedule of classes and office hours.<br>
 3. Attend and provide meaningful instruction for all class sessions during the semester. Be punctual in class attendance and provide instruction for the complete class period. Make appropriate arrangements for necessary absences according to campus policies.<br>
