ROLE OVERVIEW and PURPOSE

The Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) serves as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters across Neighborhood Healthcare Reporting to the - HR Manager, Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition this role plays a key part in providing guidance to leaders and employees on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and performance management.

The ERBP leads employee relations investigations, ensures consistent application of policies, and helps leaders navigate complex employee situations. This role also identifies trends in workplace issues and partners with HR and business leaders to develop training, policies, and strategies that support a positive workplace culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategic HR Partnership
<ul><li>Act as a thought partner to assigned Sites and Departments leaders, focusing on strengthening employee relations, coaching, performance management, and fostering a culture of continuous growth and development.</li>
<li>Help navigate employee relations scenarios with managers, providing solutions and brainstorming.</li>
</ul>
Employee Relations and Investigations:
<ul>
<li>Lead all employee relations investigations for assigned locations, collaborating with HR Manager, ER &amp; TA and other ER Members as needed.</li>
<li>Provide clear findings and recommendations to leadership and HR Leadership.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records of investigations and employee relations matters.</li>
<li>Counsel and assist in resolving employee relations issues including, but not limited to, manager/employee situations, policies, procedures, terminations, and reorganizations?</li>
<li>Identify trends in ER issues in order to develop trainings and processes to improve, and identify trends related to organizational health.</li>
<li>Investigate inquiries from employees and/or managers, ensuring timely completion and communication to relevant parties.</li>
</ul>
Subject Matter Expertise:
<ul>
<li>Provide expertise on employee relations, employee handbook, Code of Conduct, and Leaves of Absence.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Leaders on workforce development through training, coaching, mentorship, and performance management.</li>
<li>Contribute to creating and implementing standards for recording employee relations issues and investigations.</li>
<li>Serve as an instructor for HR101, HR201 and other HR .</li>
</ul>
Legal Compliance and Policy Management:
<ul>
<li>Maintain awareness of federal, state, and local employment laws.</li>
<li>Collaborate with leadership to execute, implement, and manage employee relations issues consistent with Neighborhood&rsquo;s policies.</li>
<li>Identify policy gaps and propose new policies or improvements based on organizational needs or emerging trends.</li>
</ul>
Employee Experience:
<ul>
<li>Partner with Employee Experience Team to analyze trends in employee experience and pulse surveys.</li>
<li>Create and maintain effective communication with assigned groups.</li>
<li>Role model Neighborhood&rsquo;s culture, values, and behaviors.</li>
<li>Contribute to the creation and implementation of policies and procedures that are aligned with Neighborhood&rsquo;s culture, values and strategic plans.</li>
<li>Own employee exit survey process to ensure data is being collected from employees who are voluntarily leaving Neighborhood.</li>
</ul>
Performance Evaluations and Status Changes:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for working with managers to complete performance appraisals on time and assist with direct and truthful feedback with employees.</li>
</ul>
Communication and Reporting:
<ul>
<li>Track and maintain updates that are required for policies or the Employee Handbook as you become aware of new laws and regulations or instances where the policy does not fit the situations occurring at Neighborhood.</li>
<li>Develop policies and procedures for instances where policies or procedures do not exist and would be useful.</li>
<li>Assist managers with communicating personnel changes, promotions, and other critical information via employee memos when working with managers.</li>
<li>Address pay discrepancies and partner with the compensation team to address.</li>
</ul>
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience</li>
<li>Five years of human resources experience with at least 2 years as an HR Generalist</li>
<li>HR Certification, PHR or equivalent experience/education preferred</li>
<li>HRIS experience with UKG preferred</li>
</ul>
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

<li>Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills</li>
<li>Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, OneNote, Power Point &amp; Outlook) skills required</li>

Pay range: $80,200.00 - $115,500.00 annually, depending on experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
