 The Buyer is responsible for managing procurement activities related to
 
 automation, digitalization, and system integration solutions

 SCADA, BMS, PLC, IoT, and Industry 4.0 technologies

 The role ensures the timely sourcing of high-quality materials, equipment, and services while maintaining cost efficiency, compliance, and alignment with project and operational requirements.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 1. Procurement &amp; Sourcing
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage end-to-end procurement of automation and system integration components such as:
 </li>
 <li>
 SCADA systems
 </li>
 <li>
 BMS (Building Management Systems)
 </li>
 <li>
 PLCs, RTUs, DCS
 </li>
 <li>
 Sensors, instrumentation, control panels
 </li>
 <li>
 IoT and smart devices
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and OEMs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Source materials based on technical specifications and project requirements.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 2. Vendor Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and technology partners.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct vendor evaluation, performance monitoring, and compliance checks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 3. Purchase Order Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze quotations, and perform techno-commercial evaluations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Generate and manage purchase orders in line with company policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track order status to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 4. Technical Coordination
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Collaborate with engineering, projects, and sales teams to understand technical requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure procurement aligns with project BOQ, specifications, and compliance standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support technical clarification with suppliers and OEMs.
 </li>

 5. Cost Control &amp; Optimization
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor market trends, pricing benchmarks, and supply risks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Optimize procurement processes for efficiency and value.
 </li>

 6. Compliance &amp; Documentation
 
 
 <ul>

 Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and Saudi regulations.

 Maintain accurate procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier records.

 Support audits and reporting requirements.
 </li>

 7. Logistics &amp; Coordination
 
 
 <ul>

 Coordinate with logistics teams for shipment tracking, delivery, and customs clearance.
 </li>

 Ensure proper documentation for imports, especially for specialized automation equipment.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum
 
 5 years of experience
 
 in procurement within:
 </li>
 <li>
 Automation
 </li>
 <li>
 System Integration
 </li>
 <li>
 Industrial / Digital Solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience in sourcing automation products such as SCADA, BMS, PLC, and instrumentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in
 
 Saudi Arabia or GCC market
 
 preferred.

 The Role
 
 
 
 This role is responsible for delivering all supply chain and procurement activity for JFO, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of supplier goods and work packages. The Buyer will manage procurement on behalf of the business, applying best practice in line with divisional procurement processes and governance. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines. You will be a confident and effective negotiator, with the versatility and influencing skills required to build and maintain long-term, collaborative relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
 
 
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform all procurement activities surrounding the delivery of supplier goods and work packages, including RFQs, detailed purchase orders incorporating scope of supply and deliverables.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide operational support to the supply chain team and support departments including Operations, Projects and Engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Consult with vendors, subcontractors and OEM&rsquo;s to ensure supplied goods are compliant, fit for purpose and meet businesses requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaising with suppliers on outstanding orders, material related issues and late deliveries whilst ensuring all changes and variations are captured and the impact evaluated and proposing alternative/corrective solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with and report to surrounding departments in support of business needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 New supplier evaluations - identify key strengths &amp; weaknesses versus business requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with stores to review stock levels globally in determination of new purchase quantities
 </li>
 <li>
 Critical in delivering supply chain savings to annual KPI targets. What we&rsquo;re looking for:
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience in a supply chain or procurement role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in dealing with complex fast-paced cross-functional projects in an engineering, offshore services or related industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong commercial, sourcing &amp; contract negotiation skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of strategic procurement techniques and processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in using ERP systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and full Microsoft Office suite.
