Position Overview:</b></p><p>
Responsible for overseeing and assisting in the comprehensive cleaning of aircraft interiors and galley stocking per aircraft specifications. Responsible for overseeing crew, responding to client and employee needs, and addressing any issues with supervisor.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):</b></p><ul><li>Responsible for aircraft cabin cleaning, to include: seats, seat back pockets, floors, pantries, galleys, toilets, telephones, windows, flight deck (if specified), and passenger &amp; crew compartments; removing trash; wiping tables; and clearing waste from aircraft;</li><li>Performs cabin dressing, to include: arranging seat belts; replacing head rests, pillow covers, &amp; seat back pocket items; restocking toilet items and blankets/duvets; and disinfecting/deodorizing aircraft as stated;</li><li>Assists with cleaning of company vehicles and common areas/office space used by employees;</li><li>Assists with the lifting/carrying of cleaning supplies on/off aircraft;</li><li>Provides timely service for on-time departures;</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>

Job Summary</b></h2>

The part-time Aircraft Appearance Agent at DFW airport is responsible for ensuring the interior of aircraft is clean, well-stocked, and flight-ready in accordance with airline and safety standards. Duties include equipping cabins with necessary supplies, performing thorough interior cleanings using both manual and mechanized tools, and maintaining service kits and cleaning equipment. Agents must comply with all site security procedures and report any concerns as required. This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement and may vary based on customer contract needs.</p><p>
Pay: $16.50 per hour.</p><p>

Responsibilities</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Equip airplane cabin, by reading check list specifications, with equipment and supplies such as rugs, linens, blankets, etc., as well as carrying supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. on board aircraft</li><li>
Cognitive skills to check condition, clean, sort, count, salvage and/or store equipment, and assemble kits.</li><li>
Operate vacuum cleaner and similar mechanized cleaning aids.</li><li>
Cognitive skills to check deliveries of supplies against requisitions to determine discrepancies.</li><li>
Performing aircraft interior cleaning, including equipping the aircraft cabin for flight according to specifications, with equipment and cabin services supplies.</li><li>
Cleaning interior of aircraft by hand or powered equipment using cleaners.</li><li>
Completion of the aircraft cleaning bill of work as required.</li><li>
Stocking and cleaning of vehicles used in the cleaning function.</li><li>
Stocking and cleaning of the cabin service make-up rooms area.</li><li>
Stocking and maintaining cabin service kits.</li><li>
Disposing of trash, rubbish and waste that is incidental and related to the applicable job functions.</li><li>
Uses cleaning fluids and materials, such as washing solutions, scrapers, squeegees, wringer pails and vacuum cleaners.
</li><li>Completes forms connected with work assignments according to established procedures.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Minimum Requirements</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.</li><li>
Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>
Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.</li><li>
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Must be able to perform functions in variable weather conditions as well as environmental conditions, i.e., jet engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, and jet engine noise.</li><li>
Lifts refuse containers weighing up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
Reach, bend, and twist in confined space to hand clean, using cleaning fluid and materials, the interior of aircraft including meal trays, ash trays, lavatories, overhead storage bins and buffets.</li><li>
Ability to judge distances.</li><li>
