 Your mission
 
 
 
 As Marine Cable Engineer &ndash; Electrical in our Transmission &amp; Distribution department, you will provide technical expertise for HV/MV submarine cable systems, including design review, installation support, and compliance with OETC standards. You will ensure quality, safety, and timely execution of marine cable projects through stakeholder coordination and site supervision.
 
 
 
 Your Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Electrical engineering review for HV/MV submarine cable systems (design, routing, joints &amp; terminations).
 </li>
 <li>
 Support marine cable installation (offshore cable lay, burial, landfall pull-in, HDD interface).
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with stakeholders (Client &ndash; OETC, EPC Contractor, Marine Contractors, Statutory Bodies &amp; 3rd Parties).
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform quality control and site supervision for cable handling, jointing, termination, and route preparation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review design documents, method statements, ITPs, QCPs, and ensure compliance with OETC standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide testing &amp; commissioning support (VLF, Sheath Test, OTDR, Insulation Resistance, Continuity).
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor progress, prepare technical reports, and resolve interface issues.
 </li>

 Support change order evaluation related to marine cable electrical scope.
 </li>

 Ensure adherence to safety requirements and OETC HSE regulations.

We are seeking an experienced EHV Cable Engineer to oversee Extra High Voltage cable installation, testing, inspections, and quality compliance for KAHRAMAA electricity network projects. This role ensures all work meets contractual, technical, and safety requirements while coordinating closely with contractors and authorities.</div>

Primary Responsibilities
From launchers and missiles to radars and satellites, you will design the electrical power and signal cables, along with the hardware that connects, routes, and secures them. Using 2D and 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and the Leidos Enterprise Product Life Management (ELPM) Windchill system, you&rsquo;ll bring these essential components to life. A working knowledge of government and industry-standard connectors and cable parts is key, and while you&rsquo;ll work independently on daily tasks, you&rsquo;ll have the guidance and support of senior designers to help you succeed.
