Position Summary:</b></div>

The <b>CAD Librarian (12-Month Temporary Assignment)</b> will lead efforts to standardize, clean, and optimize the CAD/MCAD model library and metadata environment. This includes removing duplicates, enforcing CAD standards, correcting and enriching metadata (naming conventions, materials, finishes, revisions), and building a trusted &ldquo;golden library.&rdquo;</div>

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:</b></div>
</div><div><ul><li>Perform MCAD library cleanup and standardization to eliminate duplicates and enforce CAD standards.</li>
<li>Correct metadata such as naming conventions, finishes, materials, and revision blocks to build a 'golden library.'</li>
<li>Manage access, permissions, version control, and usage tracking for the approved library of CAD/MCAD models and components.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineering and design teams to catalog global library items, identify reuse opportunities, and establish baseline metrics for duplication and library health.</li>
<li>Define, document, and implement CAD standards and metadata governance frameworks (finishes, hardware, materials, revision rules).</li>
<li>Prepare the CAD library for PLM migration: document standards, ensure metadata readiness, and align structures for PDM upgrade/PLM compatibility.</li>
<li>Develop and monitor library-health metrics and analytics to track data quality improvements, reuse, and migration readiness.</li>
<li>Serve as liaison between CAD/engineering teams, data governance, and PLM stakeholders.</li>
