The Role
NECI is seeking a CAD Technician to provide drafting and engineering support for customer projects, internal design efforts, and technical documentation. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate drawings and document packages that support quotation development, project execution, manufacturing, and customer deliverables.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working across multiple project types, and able to support engineering teams with high-quality CAD deliverables, document control, and drawing review.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
Drafting and Design Support
<ul><li>Create and revise drawings to support customer requirements, internal assembly needs, and proposal development</li>
<li>Support engineering and project teams with drafting updates throughout the project lifecycle</li>
<li>Help maintain drawing accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards</li>
</ul>
Engineering Documentation and Review
<ul><li>Review internal designs for fit, interference, constructability, and bill of material alignment</li>
<li>Review third-party and vendor drawings for accuracy and conformance to project requirements</li>
<li>Support the development and maintenance of parts lists, BOMs, and related technical documentation</li>
<li>Assist with technical drawing revisions and coordination between engineering, fabrication, and project teams</li>
</ul>
Customer Document Submittals
<ul><li>Create, organize, and maintain customer-facing drawing packages and document submittals</li>
<li>Support the preparation of quality packages, spare parts documentation, vendor documentation, and other required deliverables</li>
<li>Track revisions and ensure document packages are complete, accurate, and submitted on time</li>

Project and Team Support
<ul><li>Provide drafting support for active projects, proposals, and internal initiatives</li>
<li>Communicate project status, drawing issues, and documentation needs to engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders</li>

What You&rsquo;ll Bring
<ul><li>Experience with CAD drafting in an industrial, manufacturing, controls, or engineering environment</li>

Compensation: This position offers a base salary range of $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for a variable compensation plan.
