We believe that specialty coffee is for everyone and our dedication to hospitality has created a loyal following.About the Job We have a full-time Barista position open at our beautiful downtown location off of Salesforce Park! We are looking for people who enjoy creating memorable customer experiences in a high-volume environment. This role has a rate of $19.50 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience, plus tips and benefits. Job perks include working in a beautifully designed cafe with a professional team, and access to all the coffee you can drink!What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Working knowledge of the coffee menu, various brewing methods, and non-coffee drinks.</li><li>Working knowledge of the food program, food preparation methods, ability to answer questions, and make customer accommodations regarding allergy information.</li><li>Taking orders and operating the cash register, preparing and expediting drink and food orders.</li><li>Maintaining total cleanliness of the cafe.</li><li>Ensuring all food and drink items meet Andytown standards, only serving products you would be stoked to receive.</li><li>Opening and Closing the store; following daily task lists, ensuring all equipment, surfaces, storage areas, floors, and windows are maintained and clean.</li><li>Upholding health department standards.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Motivated to create memorable experiences for guests. At Andytown we believe that making genuine interactions with our customers is just as important as making delicious coffee.</li><li>Commitment to honing your coffee skills and food knowledge.</li><li>Ability to do repetitive work, including tamping espresso by hand.</li><li>Comfortability working in a small space in close proximity to others in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.</li><li>Ability to stand up to 8+ hours every shift.</li><li>Sometimes will need to bend, crouch, kneel, and reach over-head, to complete tasks.</li></ul>At Andytown, we are committed to creating good jobs.
