Support the capacity management functions of the pipeline system by primarily using Kinder Morgan&rsquo;s contract and scheduling systems. This role is responsible for reviewing and processing capacity requests, maintaining accurate system data, and ensuring timely responses to internal and external inquiries. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, scheduling, commercial, and IT teams to maintain segment and point capacities, uphold compliance with applicable tariffs and policies, and implement system enhancements.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for handling the majority of capacity requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing in alignment with contractual obligations and operational constraints.</li><li>
Review and approve capacity requests, contracts, amendments, and Right of First Refusal (ROFR) renewals, maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Build and maintain transportation service agreements, including reservations (RFCs), ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems.</li><li>
Maintain, test, and implement enhancements to DART (Dynamic Allocation and Reporting Tool) functions, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to improve system performance and user experience.</li><li>
Monitor and respond to the TGP Capacity Inbox, fielding incoming inquiries and providing prompt, knowledgeable support to internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>
Conduct regular grid exception reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate capacity allocation and reporting.</li><li>
Maintain point and segment capacities in coordination with Engineering, ensuring alignment between commercial commitments and physical system capabilities.</li></ul>

<h5 class="jobSectionHeader">Education:</h5>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Business. Equivalent work experience may be considered.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Experience / Specific Knowledge:</h3><ul><li>
Minimum 2 years of experience in a data-driven or analytical role, preferably within the energy or pipeline industry.</li><li>
Familiarity with internal systems such as DART or similar scheduling and capacity management platforms.</li><li>
Experience working with IT teams to test and implement system changes.</li><li>
Understanding of tariff-based capacity rules and regulatory compliance.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Competencies, Skills, and Abilities:</h3><ul><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to interpret and apply tariff rules and regulatory guidelines to capacity management decisions.</li><li>
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments including Engineering, IT, and Scheduling.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.</li><li>
Ability to manage a high volume of email correspondence and prioritize tasks effectively.</li><li>
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Preferred Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>
3&ndash;5 years of experience in pipeline operations, capacity management, or contract administration.</li><li>
Prior experience with DART or similar internal systems.</li><li>
Experience in testing and validating system enhancements or code changes.</li><li>

This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations (Hartford, CT, Naperville, IL, San Antonio, TX, Lake Mary, FL, Scottsdale, AZ and Sunrise, FL) will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford&rsquo;s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
