 The Surgery Scheduler / Patient Care Coordinator schedules all surgical procedures and assures that all of the appropriate clinical and insurance coding information is collected for the surgery schedule. They will request to schedule procedures from physician offices and schedule the procedure according to established guidelines. They will provide accurate information so that all department may view daily and maintains open communication with hospital department and physician offices regarding schedule changes.
