</li></ul>The Trumbull Career &amp; Technical Center is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional / Educational Aide to support students in our career tech labs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with students and has a passion for technical skills and shop environments. The successful candidate will assist students with tasks, ensure a safe and productive learning environment, and provide general support within CTE programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the teacher and reinforce classroom instruction through individualized and small-group tutoring.</li><li>
Monitor and enforce safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and tools. Assist in maintaining lab equipment, materials, and a safe learning environment.</li><li>

Use educational technology and lab-related software to enhance learning.</li><li>
Assist with clerical duties, including data entry and report compilation.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>High School diploma with Ohio Educational Aide permit or associate degree. Additional certifications in CTE areas (e.g., safety, mechanical fields) are a plus. High School paraprofessional experience preferred.</li><li>
Some mechanical ability and hands-on experience, especially in technical fields like automotive, construction, or manufacturing, is preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge of OSHA or general shop safety procedures is highly beneficial.</li><li>
Ability to work well with students of diverse backgrounds and varying skill levels.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to assist, motivate, and communicate with students effectively.</li><li>
Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions, as well as assist students in following technical guidelines.</li><li>

Compensation:

This role is eligible for various stipends based on certifications, credentials, and campus leadership ranging from $500-$4,000 each. We also offer additional performance-based compensation.
