Mentoring and Counseling:</b></p><ul><li>Provide counselling, instruction, and mentoring for those struggling with social , emotional , and behavioral problem</li><li>Increase achievement by assessing barriers to learning and determining the best instructional strategies to improve learning</li><li>Promote wellness and social skills, problem solving, anger management, self-regulation, self-determination, and optimism</li><li>Provide individual and group counseling services to meet the developmental, preventive, and remedial needs of all El Shaddai Charitable Trust students.</li><li>Make social investigation/case histories of children through personal interviews and from the family, social agencies, and other sources - <b>Home study report</b></li><li>Focus on enabling the child to adjust to the home, school and the new environment and identification of behavioral and psychological disorder.</li><li>Establish a counselling laboratory, Psychological testing, clinical/behavioural counselling.</li><li>Develop Individual care plan/career counselling for every child in homes and shelters with regard to the child&rsquo;s present and future need and requirement mental health organization in case if the child needs medication/hospitalization/necessary services.</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of counseling theories and use appropriate assessment and diagnostic procedures for determining and structuring individual and group counseling services.</li></ul><p>3. <b>Consulting</b></p><ul><li>Assists parents, In Charges and teachers in understanding and responding to developmental levels of students</li><li>Present instructional/informational programs to group of students, parents, and teachers (e.g., parent education programs, group guidance, teacher in-service).</li><li>Increase children&rsquo;s confidence and gain their trust to share their problems, help them cope with painful emotions, and deal with their difficulties in institutional life.</li><li>Encourage and motivate the children through behavior modification exercises.</li></ul><p><b>4 Coordinating and communicating.</b></p><ul><li>Coordinate all counseling services for students and assists with the same.</li><li>Advocate all students and assist teachers with the integration of Guidance Curriculum.</li><li>Share appropriate information about students with school personnel, parents, and agencies</li><li>Make appropriate referrals of students to school and community programs</li><li>Identify and communicate with special children (disabled, dyslexics, ADHD, etc.)</li></ul><p>Complete additional tasks as assigned.</p><p><b>Key Working Relationships:</b> Children (Group/individual), Homes &amp; Shelter In Charges, School Head Teacher &amp; School Administrator.</p><p><b>Essential Skills: </b>3 years&rsquo; experience, MA in Clinical Psychology/ Psychology or equivalent Experience</p><p><b>Essential Attributes:</b> patient, active listener, compassionate, open-minded, research oriented, discrete, encouraging, authentic, honest, sensitive, good communication skills and a positive attitude</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Food provided</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>total work: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
