The Parking Cashier is responsible for operating a specified parking lot by performing cash transactions and providing excellent customer service. The Cashier ensures proper ticket handling and guest payments while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client&rsquo;s expectations. The Cashier is responsible for taking payments and assisting guests as they enter or exit the property. The Cashier works closely with fellow team members, Operation Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that cash handling procedures as well as safety standards are met at all times.</div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3><br>

Responsible for performing cash transactions with accuracy and precision</li>
<li>Keeping your cash organized and knowing what you have on hand</li>
<li>Ensuring your cash and tickets are sorted throughout the day</li>
<li>Preparing your cash control/summary sheets with accuracy and neatness</li>
<li>Reporting all overages and shortages</li>
<li>Making sure you plan ahead to have adequate change on hand</li>
<li>Completing all Reimagined documents completely, accurately and neatly</li>
<li>Responsible for keeping work environment neat and organized at all times</li>
<li>Cleaning and organizing the interior of booth</li>
<li>Cleaning the booth windows</li>
<li>Ensuring the signage and equipment on the lot is continuously wiped down and free of vandalism and graffiti</li>
<li>Walking through the parking lot and picking up any excess garbage and changing bags in garbage cans</li>
<li>Ensuring supplies are properly stacked and organized at all times</li>
<li>Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment</li>
<li>Ensuring the windows and doors are locked and cash is taken with you if you have to leave the booth for any reason</li>
<li>Securing your monies and control sheets by putting them in a deposit bag and keeping it secure prior to their deposit</li>
<li>Report all odd occurrences or strange persons on the lot to your supervisor immediately</li>
<li>Responsible for being punctual and ensuring that your timecard is punched at the beginning and end of your shift</li>
<li>Adhering to the Reimagined Parking dress code for proper attire and grooming</li>
<li>Responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures</li>
<li>Resolving customer complaints quickly and efficiently</li>
<li>Providing exceptional customer service by being pleasant, courteous and helpful to customers</li>
<li>Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner</li>
<li>Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns; relay information to shift or Operations Manager as necessary</li>
<li>Issue and or collect visitor parking tickets</li>
<li>Match visitor ticket forms when original tickets cannot located</li>
<li>Complete shift/daily reconciliation of receipts, cash, and charges; accurately account for all funds within cashier drawer</li>
<li>Perform revenue drops following specific location procedures</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in and around the cashier&rsquo;s booth</li>
<li>Answers telephone in a prompt and courteous manner, when required</li>
<li>Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead</li>
<li>Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates</li>

 Utilizes a quality customer service orientation, receives payment from customers for parking services and facilitates the flow of traffic through the gate by performing the following duties:

   Counts &ldquo;bank&rdquo; of revenue at beginning of shift to ensure starting total is correct.

   Makes change and issues receipts or tickets to customer for each transaction.

  <li>
   Computes or recomputes bill from ticket showing amount due per customer.
  </li>
  <li>
   Operates cash register after time calculation (manually or by machine), calculates cost or transaction and displays cost of customer transaction on cash register.

  <li>
   Quotes prices for parking services for which money is received upon customer receipt.
  </li>
  <li>
   Gives directions to customers to various locations in the city.
  </li>
  <li>
   Completes lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.

   Resolves customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor.
  </li>

   Answers telephone in a prompt and courteous manner.
  </li>

   Maintains cleanliness of booth and picks up trash in the surrounding area.

   Conducts timely checks to see if a proper inventory of necessary work aids and supplies are located in booth.
