 The Category Buyer (CB) supports one or several procurement categories.
 
 
 The CB works in close relation with the relevant Global Category Managers (GCM), the Categories Team leader (CTL), the Category Manager(CM) and the Tactical Buyer (TB).
 
 
 All actions have to be in line with the strategy defined by the Global Category Manager and the CM. The CB's prime role is the management of the RFI or/and RFP's until PVet 4 stage (up to PVet 5 based on some Regions) in order to provide the competiveness to the business.

THE ROLE
For the sub-category Billable Services, we seek a Category Buyer with a strong Procurement background and with strong focus on internal business partnerships and supplier management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the procurement of third-party services for customer projects within SAP's Global Procurement Organization and will report directly to the Vice President Service Procurement.
The Category Buyer for Billable Services will support the respective Category Manager and the implementation and execution of the category strategy.
