<div><div><p><b>Summary:</b><b> </b>The Medical Assistant is a key member of the Physician Practice and assists Providers with delivery of care. The Medical Assistant is responsible for prepatory tasks to ensure the efficiency of the practice and customer service for the patient. Duties include exam prep, patient interviews, vitals, chart recording, chart pulling/filing, room turnover, ordering supplies and performing medical testing as instructed by provider. The Medical Assistant may float to other practices, as needed.</p>
<p><b>Education:</b> High School Diploma or equivalent required completion of a Medical Assistant course required or equivalent work experience.</p>
<p><b>Licensure:</b> Certification required or equivalent work experience with proven competency.</p>
<p><b>Experience:</b> Two to four years of relevant work experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical/physician&rsquo;s office preferred.</p>
<p><b>Skills and Abilities:</b></p>
<ul><li>Knowledge of basic office equipment including copier, fax machine, and computer.</li>
<li>Skill in dealing with interpersonal issues and customer relations.</li>
<li>Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision.</li>
