This position of CDL driver will be responsible for the pickup and hard drive shredding service for clients. GEM owns several dry van trailers, 2 box trucks and 2 shredder trucks. Our management team is focused upon providing a safe and engaging work environment to ensure maximum safety and productivity. This day shift position requires 40 hours per week with overtime, as needed, and includes health insurance, bonuses, and paid vacation and sick leave.The driving range is within Texas area, mostly local Dallas and Fort Worth area.Desired Experience:<ul><li>Minimum one year truck driving experience.</li><li>Valid Class A Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL).</li><li>OSHA Safety protocols and PPE.</li><li>Team work experience.</li><li>Manual Switches Truck driving experience preferred.</li></ul>Duties:<ul><li>Drive dry van trailer, box truck, shredder truck local in Dallas and Fort Worth Region for pickup and delivery service for company's own purchase or goods.</li><li>Drive out of state on some occasions with team project with pre-arrangement.</li><li>Bring in/out container from Dallas/Fort Worth Depot.</li><li>Willing to load, unload, packaging and use pallet jet.</li><li>Willing to run hard drive shredder while doing onsite shredding service.</li><li>Willing to work in warehouse when not driving (10%-30% time)</li><li>Understand inbound / outbound procedure and follow instructions from the logistic department.</li><li>Follow company policy and industry regulation on service client.</li><li>Understand and adapt to safety training, driving training etc.</li><li>Maintain and take care of the company truck, trailer and tractor.</li></ul>Compensation will be determined by overall qualifications.
