The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans.</p><p><b>

Assist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls</li><li>
Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure</li><li>
Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse</li><li>
Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries</li><li>
Contributes knowledge of resident&rsquo;s conditions/needs to resident care plans</li><li>
Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge Nurse</li></ul><p><b>
Educational/Training Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred</p></li></ul><p><b>
Licensing Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>
Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license</p></li></ul><p><b>
Experience Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>
Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred</p></li><li><p>
Must be at least 16 years of age</p></li></ul><p><b>

Provide companionship and stimulation for the client including reading, walks, etc.; and accompanying the client to doctors or other appointments.</li><li>
Observe and report changes in client's condition to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator.</li><li>
Turn or reposition patients who are bedridden.</li><li>
Examine patient for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds.</li></ul><p>
Qualifications include:</p><ul><li>
Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training and minimum 1 year experience</li><li>
Satisfactory background check and valid driver's license</li><li>
Good communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Desire to compassionately care for others</li><li>
