This role is ideal for someone that has great attention to detail, works independently, and enjoys active communication with patients.Responsibilities:&middot; Process medication refills for all patients, including controlled substances, timely and accurately&middot; Manage prior authorizations for medications and pain-related therapies&middot; Communicate with pharmacies, insurance companies, and providers to resolve medication issues timely and efficiently&middot; Maintain accurate documentation of communications, medications, and approvals&middot; Handle appeals, denials, and insurance follow-ups related to medications&middot; Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules align with medication refill dates and assist with medication checks&middot; Review urine drug screens for patients to monitor compliance while communicating with providers regarding abnormalities&middot; Collaborate with clinical staff and providers to support treatment plans and protocols of the practice in relation to medications and interventional treatmentsQualifications:&middot; Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred&middot; Strong knowledge of prior authorizations and insurance processes&middot; Familiarity with EMR systems (eClinical Works experience a plus)&middot; Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail&middot; Strong communication skills with emphasis on customer service ensuring a pleasurable experience for our patientsWhat We Offer:&middot; Monday &ndash; Thursday 8:30-5:30 and Friday 8:30-3:00&middot; No nights, weekends, or holidays&middot; Pay range $18-22 based on experience&middot; Paid Time Off&middot; Paid Holidays&middot; Supportive team environment with opportunities to growJoin a team where your role directly impacts patient outcomes and practice efficiency. About the Position

The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) / Med Tech is responsible for enhancing the overall Resident experience through the provision of exceptional daily nursing care and service in accordance with each resident's personalized care plan. The Certified Medication Aide assists with activities of daily living, like dressing, eating, grooming, communicating, toileting, personal hygiene and mobility needs, as well as preparing and administering medications according to health care provider instructions and within the scope of Grand Living&rsquo;s license. This is to be handled in The Sterling Touch&reg; friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner, resulting in a high level of Resident satisfaction. The Certified Medication Aide is under the general guidance of the Director of Health and Wellness in accordance with Community standards, processes, procedures, practices and philosophy. 


Qualifications and Requirements

The Certified Medication Aide must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED, required.</li>
<li>1-2 years of experience working with Seniors preferred, but not required.</li>
<li>Certified Medication Aide License, required.</li>
<li>Ability to read, write and understand the English language in order to provide assistance with ADLs in accordance with each assigned resident&rsquo;s personalized care plan, observe and provide medication assistance to resident, react and communicate during emergencies, and communicate with other employees, supervisors, residents and guests.</li>
<li>Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods of time.</li>
<li>Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds.</li></ul>
