   Collaborates with donor hospital partners to ensure effective operating room setup, instrumentation and back tables are optimal to facilitate the organ donation process.

   Execute and monitor mechanical preservation of organs by positioning cannula and placement of organs on pulsatile perfusion device using sterile technique to optimize organ acceptance.

   Retrieval of equipment, including organ pumps and coolers, from transplant centers, ensuring sufficient equipment at all LifeSource facilities.

Must report on-site within 1 hour of notification.

POSITION SUMMARY<br>

5. Performs receptionist/clerical duties to support overall operating efficiency and effective flow of communication and information throughout the department. </p><p></p><p><b>General Summary:</b> The PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician, is responsible for:
</p><ul><li>Providing first assisting during surgical procedures
</li><li>Participates in the management of the intraoperative care of surgical patients.
</li><li>Ensuring operating room is properly set up and equipped for planned procedure
</li><li>Perform all intraoperative tasks as directed by the surgeon
</li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
</li><li>Specialties covered but not limited to: Robotics, Orthopedics, Urogynecology, Plastic Surgery, Neurology, and Vascular.

</b></p><ul><li>Campuses Covered: AdventHealth Central Florida Division
</li><li>5-day operating schedule
</li><li>Call and weekend responsibility
</li></ul><p><b>Knowledge and Skills Required:
</b></p><ul><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients.
</li><li>Strong communication skills
</li><li>Strong medical decision-making skills
</li></ul><p><b>Required Education and Experience:
</b></p><ul><li>Graduation from an ARC-PA approved physician assistant program
</li><li>Minimum 2 years&rsquo; experience as a PA-C in surgical first assisting in at least one of our listed specialties.
</li><li>Preferred experience in spine and robotics
</li></ul><p><b>Required Licensure, Certification, and Registration:
</b></p><ul><li>Current, valid and unrestricted Florida PA license
</li><li>NCCPA certification
</li><li>Current BLS (ACLS optional)
