<p><b>Job Overview</b><br/>We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Instructor to teach the <b>game of chess </b>to young students.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating elementary and/or middle school students about the fundamentals of chess. This role requires effective classroom management skills and the ability to communicate concepts clearly to ensure student understanding and engagement.</p><p><b>Duties</b></p><ul><li>Manage classroom dynamics effectively, maintaining a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.</li><li>Educate students in accordance with curriculum standards, utilizing various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.</li><li>Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their academic and personal growth.</li><li>Provide individualized support and tutoring to students who require additional assistance</li></ul><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Knows how to play chess.</li><li>A passion for chess, education, and a commitment to student success.</li><li>Strong verbal communication skills, to effectively convey information.</li><li>Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports all learners.</li><li>Experience in tutoring or providing group instruction is a plus.</li></ul><p>Join us in spreading our love and passion for chess while making a difference in the lives of our students through quality education!</p><p><b>Mission</b></p><p>Checkmate Academy is committed to creating a fun and supportive environment where young students, from elementary and middle school can develop their chess skills.
