Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Child Care Director is responsible for the planning, development and effective implementation of the operation of a quality early care childcare program that complies with current Delacare and Delaware STARS rules and regulations. The position includes program management and staff supervision. The position requires knowledge of various educational approaches, software and other educational materials. 
 
Essential Functions</div>
<ul><li>Manage day-to-day operation of the licensed preschool/childcare and summer camp program.</li>
<li>Interpret and maintain compliance with current state licensing requirements for early care childcare centers; address non-compliance issues as needed.</li>
<li>Control expenditures against an assigned budget; recommend income and expense projections for assigned areas of responsibility; assist with the financial development of the childcare program.</li>
<li>Ensure safe implementation of all childcare activities including the condition of equipment and facilities,</li>
<li>age-appropriate activities and appropriate use of equipment and supplies.</li>
<li>Directly supervise children and youth within guidelines established by Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Delaware, and in compliance with applicable state licensing and Delaware Starts regulations.</li>
<li>Maintain regular contact with parents/guardians concerning programs, schedules, developmental progress</li>
<li>(including behavioral issues), payments, etc.</li>
<li>Work with families to generate individual learning goals for children</li>

Position Overview
Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a results-driven Multi-Site Director to oversee multiple after school childcare programs in Dorset, Manchester Center, and West Pawlet, VT.
This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality programming, strong enrollment, staffing stability, payroll oversight, and full regulatory compliance across assigned sites.
The Multi-Site Director supports Site Directors and staff, conducts regular site visits, manages staffing needs, and ensures each program operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with VT Department of Child and Families (VT DCF) regulations.
This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and a hands-on approach to supporting staff and maintaining high-quality programs.

Program Leadership &amp; Quality<ul><li>
Ensure engaging programming aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum</li><li>
Conduct regular site visits and provide coaching to Site Directors and staff</li><li>

Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate</li><li>
Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential</li><li>
Vermont Program Director Credential</li><li>
Vermont Teacher Licensure</li><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree in a youth-related field</li></ul>

Prior Vermont Background Clearance and Training preferred but not required</li><li>
