Under the direction of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Research Coordinator I is responsible for carrying out multiple complex research protocols.</div><div></div><div><br>
At the Lifeline for Families Center, we develop and scale practical approaches to integrating mental healthcare into perinatal, infant, and child healthcare. We develop, implement, and test scalable models of care, trainings, and tools that support families, regardless of what professional or setting they present to. Lifeline for Families is a mission-based, women-led organization which supports parents (all child caregivers) and their children in their relationship with one another in traditionally adult- or child-centric settings. We promote mental health for parents and/or children through social connections, trust, and nurturing. Lifeline for Families has two programs: Lifeline for Moms, which drives innovative solutions to addressing multi-level barriers (patient, clinician, practice, population, and policy levels) to perinatal mental health care, and Lifeline for Kids, which addresses the impact of trauma on children and families while simultaneously promoting protective factors, operating under the principle of &ldquo;you don&rsquo;t have to be a therapist to be therapeutic.&rdquo; These programs are synergistic with each other; together, we work to create a holistic landscape of trauma-informed family care with an equity lens.</div><div></div><div><br>
The Research Coordinator I will work primarily on a project funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes (PCORI). This project, Pathways for Perinatal Mental Health Equity (Pathways), is a clinical trial that is being conducted at Lifeline for Families. The Research Coordinator may also work on an innovative research program focused on improving perinatal mental health beginning in the preconception period by developing and evaluating a novel Community Health Worker-facilitated digital intervention that integrates preventative mental health support into primary care settings before pregnancy. By combining scalable digital health technology with community-informed expertise, this work seeks to improve engagement, accessibility, and early intervention for women at risk of perinatal mental health conditions.</div><div><br>
</div><div>For these projects, the Research Coordinator will:</div><br>

Participate in qualitative and quantitative data collection and storage.

Work closely with investigators to coordinate project activities and adhere to project work plans.

Evaluates the risk to the child to remain in the home and recommends course of action. Level I, basic interviews with supervisory direction. </p><p>I-IV - Works collaboratively with community agencies including law enforcement, school and medical personnel as it relates to the investigation, provision of services and in accordance with the current AG protocols.
</p><p>I-IV - Makes reasonable efforts to maintain the child in the family by preparing a safety plan with the family to remedy the abusive/neglectful situation.
</p><p>I-IV - Arranges for in-home services to families when it is determined the abuse or neglect allegations are founded and the child can remain safely in the home with agreement by the family that they will cooperate with a case plan. Documents evidence to substantiate reports of child abuse and neglect in order to support the court petition.
</p><p>I-IV - Locates suitable alternative placement to meet specific child/children&rsquo;s needs and in conjunction with policy and practice guidelines and prepares the child and family for the child/children&rsquo;s placement. Facilitates placement and coordinates visitations with the family and transports children and client families to necessary appointments.

Level II possesses fundamental knowledge. Level III possesses advanced knowledge. Level IV possesses advanced knowledge and manages an increasingly complex caseload.

Why does the job exist?

Child Protective Services Case Workers make decisions regarding the safety of a child or vulnerable adult, whether to forward referrals to local field offices for investigation or refer a family who has been in an abuse/neglect situation to supportive services. The Case Worker initiates CPS investigations and conducts case management of Child Protective Services investigations cases (family services and legal) consistent with policy and procedures so as to permit the attainment of federal standards and performance-based budget measures - assigned investigations per month or a combination of investigations and permanency cases which are of equal weight. The Case Worker assesses the safety of children alleged to be maltreated and ensures that the appropriate safety decision is made, and that services are provided to parents and children to mitigate identified safety threats. On a rotating basis, provides after-hours response to CPS emergencies. CPS Case Workers coordinate assessments, and permanency plans for children in the custody of the Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) to promote child safety, permanency, and well-being. The Case Worker completes licensing requirements on a timely basis and in accordance with CYFD guidelines to have an effective community relationship with clients and vendors. Make decisions regarding granting licensure to foster families, approving adoptive families, matching available children with approved families, and placing children accordingly.

<b>The following describes what the duties for each service area:</b>

<b>Investigations:</b><b>Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:</b><br>
Initiate CPS investigations in accordance to assigned priority, assessing the safety of and risk to children of the family who are the subject of a CPS referral; on a rotating basis, provide after-hours response to CPS emergencies. Conduct investigations by completing the safety assessment tool, conducting interviews of involved parties, notifying family of investigation decision, disposition and rights to an administrative review. Provide quality practice in the completion of CPS investigations and continuous protective services in accordance with the Protective Services Division policies and procedures.

<b>Permanency:</b><b>Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:</b><br>
Provide permanency planning services for children served by the agency to promote the safety and permanency of children by conducting ongoing assessments to determine child safety, permanency, and well-being. On a rotating basis, provide after-hours response to emergencies. For assigned cases, conduct ongoing case activities to collect information necessary to create appropriate plans to provide safety, timely permanency and enhanced well-being for children. Provide case management services for children served by the agency. Provide quality services to children served by the agency and assume limited administrative responsibility for unit and other duties as assigned to achieve agency mission by working with management to identify positive practice issues, areas needing improvement, and participating in local reviews.

<b>Licensing and Support:</b><b>Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:</b><br>
The Licensing and Support worker assesses, and licenses foster homes in a manner that is consistent with Protective Services Division policies and procedures. They conduct ongoing case activities for maintenance and retention of licensed families that promotes family focused and child centered practice. They provide pre and post placement services to pre-adoptive families in accordance with Protective Services Division practice model.

All case workers will complete FACTS documentation on providers as per policy and procedure.
<br>Minimum Qualification
<br><br>
Bachelor's degree in social work, education, counseling, psychology, sociology, criminal justice or family studies from an accredited college/university. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
<br>Employment Requirements
<br><br>
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results.
<br>Working Conditions
<br><br>
<b>Work is performed in an office setting:</b> late hours, weekends, on-call and callback work may be required. Will be exposed to regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage and stressful situations. Travel may be required. Possible exposure to irate clientele. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Incumbent will be required to furnish a personal vehicle for carrying out assignments which may include transporting clients including children. Must have own mode of transportation.

Job Description</b></h2><div><br>
Allied Universal&reg; is hiring a Surveillance Investigator. The Surveillance Investigator will perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of a Claimant to confirm current activities and capabilities to assist with the administration of an insurance claim.</div><div>

</li></ul><div></div><div><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></div><ul><li>
Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across a range of coverage types, including workers&rsquo; compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability</li><li>
Utilize various surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly</li><li>
Document and report observations, activities, and any relevant information in a clear and concise manner</li><li>
Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement agencies as needed to gather information and coordinate efforts</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards in conducting surveillance operations</li></ul><div><b>
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):</b></div><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Post offer, must be able to successfully complete the Allied Universal Investigations' training/orientation course</li><li>
Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable work experience, preferably involving investigations or other protective service-related field</li><li>
Flexibility to work varied and irregular hours/days including weekends and holidays</li><li>
Ability to type reports in Microsoft Word format with minimal grammatical and punctuation errors</li><li>
Proficient in utilizing laptop computers, video cameras and cell phones</li><li>
Capable of maintaining focus and multitasking effectively in a dynamic environment</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations with composure and professionalism</li><li>
Ability to work in a very independent environment</li></ul><div><b>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):</b></div><ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s Degree or higher, preferably in Criminal Justice</li><li>
