The Common Platform Hardware (CPH) department in Military Avionics and Helicopters (MA&amp;H) has an opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer. This department is responsible for the development and sustainment of state-of-the-art avionics hardware products including integrated processing cabinets, displays, video processing modules, and control panels used in military fighter, fixed wing, and rotary wing aircraft platforms.
Our products employ the following technologies and interfaces; Airborne Electronic Hardware (including FPGA, CPLD, ASICs), embedded processing resources (PowerPC, Intel, and ARM), avionics interfaces (including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, I2C, SPI, Ethernet), video interfaces (including SMPTE, analog, DVI, DisplayPort).
Responsibilities include ruggedized mission computer and display level product development, circuit card and sub-level module development, product qualification, product transition, and product sustainment over the life cycle of the design. The Senior Electrical Engineer also has opportunities for project engineer and control account management (PE/CAM), and has high expectations for leadership within a design team, and communication to our internal and external customers.
This role is specifically to work KC-46 VRCU and VPU Integration activities followed by other Boeing computer efforts with the DPC product line. The senior engineer will have responsibilities that include lead more junior engineers in integration and qual preparation and testing, collaborating with at least three other team leads (project engineering, over design lead, and cert lead), support platform and equipment systems request for trouble-shooting support and root causing failures that occur during testing.

</div><div>Summary of Role:
</div>GlobalFoundries is seeking an energetic and highly motivated engineer for a position as a Yield Engineer in our state-of-the-art 300mm wafer fab in Malta, NY. The candidate will drive yield improvement and product performance on advanced technology nodes on GlobalFoundries&rsquo; strategic roadmap.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
<ul><li>Drive yield and product performance for technology nodes at 45nm and below, with the focus of this position supporting our high-volume production.
</li><li>Investigate root cause of yield and product functionality issues.</li>
<li>Use data analysis, failure analysis, product and design information, device knowledge, and technology understanding to identify improvement opportunities.</li>
<li>Engage with our customers on weekly calls giving clear updates on current yield status and forecasts.</li>
<li>Work closely with Test, Integration and Process Modules to implement fast and cost-effective improvements.</li>
<li>Support customer engineering to fully meet external customer requirements.</li>
<li>Support process module engineering activities to improve cost, cycle time, and manufacturing robustness.</li>

</div><div><ul><li>Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety &amp; Security requirements and programs.

</ul></div>Required Qualifications:
<ul><li>Education - Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Circuit Design, Electrical Engineering or related technical field.</li>
<li>Experience - Minimum of 2-3 years&rsquo; experience in the semiconductor industry or related field.</li>
<li>Fluency in English language - both written and verbal</li>
<li>Excellent data analysis and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment</li>
<li>Working knowledge in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments.</li>
