Key Responsibilities :

</li><li>Perform airside engineering calculations, such as structural calculations for manholes and duct banks, steel structures and supporting elements of airside special systems, including load calculation (dead and wind load, load combinations), structural analysis and modelling, bearing strength, fatigue analysis, etc.
</li><li>Review and prepare material specifications for the manholes, duct banks, supporting structures and foundations of approach masts, guidance signs, AVDGS, floodlighting, ground (apron) power units, etc.
</li><li>Review airside consultancy reports for all civil infrastructure within the scope of the assigned project
</li><li>Produce, support, or review pavement, airfield marking, ducts and pits layout drawings, installation detail drawings, as well as structural and fit-out drawings.
</li><li>Provide technical support during the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance phases of airside infrastructure projects.
</li><li>Participate in design coordination meetings, support quality assurance, and propose improvements to internal procedures and tools based on project experience.
</li><li>Adhere to the Autodesk Vault procedures ensuring all files created, received or submitted are correctly stored and set-up.
</li><li>Maintain awareness of evolving safety, sustainability, and environmental standards, applying them to design and project delivery.
</li><li>Support and mentor junior staff as appropriate.
</li></ul>Qualifications
<ul><li>Engineering degree or similar qualifications.
</li><li>At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the aviation industry.
</li><li>Advanced understanding of project processes.
</li><li>Familiarity with ADB Safegate&rsquo;s full portfolio (products, systems and services).
</li><li>Advanced level in Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
</li><li>Experience with Autodesk Vault, ArcGIS Pro, AutoTURN, AviPLAN, and MS Office/MS Teams is desirable.

</li><li>Hands-on experience in designing of structures and plans in 3D
</li><li>Knowledgeable in airside infrastructure including marking, visual and navaids, surveillance systems and VDGS.

Support the design and construction of new projects and renovations to existing industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities at multiple Tesla Facilities</li><li>
Manage high-quality BIM (Revit) models, develop 3D engineering designs in Revit, and prepare plan drawings, section/elevations, installation details, and schedules for permit and construction under the supervision of Lead Designer/Engineer</li><li>
Coordinate structural modeling with multidisciplinary project teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing (MEP) professionals</li><li>
Utilize and improve structural design standards by working with the BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results and incorporate new design into the existing facility models</li><li>
Assist Lead Engineer/Designer in gathering information for RFI&rsquo;s</li><li>
Assist in developing material take-offs</li><li>
Assist in laying out of structural engineering solutions developed by Lead Engineer and Lead Designer in preparation for 30%, 60% and 90% model review</li></ul></div> 

What You'll Bring<div><ul><li>
ITE drafting certification or equivalent experience</li><li>
Minimum 4 years of civil/structural drafting for building or industrial projects, or equivalent</li><li>
Experience developing BIM Content: Families - parametric, formula nested, type catalogs</li><li>
Expert knowledge of Revit Structural and proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>
Works effectively under the direction of the Lead Engineer/Designer with minimal supervision, prioritizes and clearly communicates tasks, and demonstrates flexibility to work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines</li><li>
Able to multi-task and be flexible/adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines</li><li>
Self-directed, highly motivated self-starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills</li></ul></div>
