Core responsibilities<ul><li>
Generating Technical Drawings: Create precise and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software for various aspects of oil and gas projects, including:<ul><li>
P&amp;IDs (Piping &amp; Instrumentation Diagrams): Illustrating the functional relationships of piping, instrumentation, and system components.</li><li>
PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams): Representing the overall flow of processes within a plant or facility.</li><li>
Isometric Piping Drawings: Providing a 3D view of piping systems to aid in installation and construction.</li><li>
Equipment Layout and General Arrangement (GA) Drawings: Showing the spatial arrangement of equipment and major components within a facility.</li><li>
Civil and Structural Drawings: Depicting foundations, supports, and other civil structures supporting oil and gas installations.</li><li>
Detailed Piping Drawings, including spool drawings for fabrication.</li><li>
As-Built Drawings: Capturing the final configuration of a system after construction is complete.</li></ul></li><li>
Collaboration and Design Coordination: Collaborate closely with engineers (mechanical, civil, process, instrumentation), project managers, and other stakeholders to understand design specifications, requirements, and revisions, ensuring accuracy and consistency across disciplines.</li><li>
Adherence to Standards and Regulations: Ensure that all drawings adhere to relevant oil and gas industry standards, codes, and regulations.<ul><li>
This may include Industry specific standards such as OISD and those for layouts of oil and gas installations.</li><li>
Also, Petroleum standards for pipelines covering design, materials, installation, testing, and safety.</li><li>
Adherence to ASME B31.3, B31.4 requirements for Piping and pipeline design and material specifications.</li><li>
Incorporate safety features like automatic shut-off valves, and intrinsically safe systems to prevent ignition in hazardous environments.</li></ul></li><li>
Documentation and Quality Control: Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions, implement robust version control, and conduct thorough quality checks to ensure drawings are accurate, error-free, and meet project requirements and deadlines.</li></ul>
