</b></p><ul><li>Prepare and develop arrangement and detail conceptual, FEED, studies, and detail design drawings of high technical quality and professional consistent presentation, ensuring clarity and ease of construction
</li><li>Develop 3D models and ensure clash-free with all other disciplines
</li><li>Ensure design deliverables are completed and issued per project specifications, MDR, and project Level 2 &amp; 3 procedures and within agreed schedules and budgets
</li><li>Apply knowledge and/or skills to a range of activities
</li><li>Set priorities, organize own work and time to meet objectives, and (as Lead Designer) forecast and plan resource requirements
</li><li>Act as a coordinator and technical expert within the process of development and/or modification of 3D Macros applied at E3D/S3D
</li><li>Become fully familiar with Project Scope of Work, specifications, schedule, and inter-discipline requirements, including identifying concerns as early as practicable and taking appropriate initiatives to address them
</li><li>Prepare Civil and Structural layouts from data generated by others in close liaison with Civil and Structural Engineers and counterparts from other disciplines
</li><li>Assist Lead Engineer/Designer in raising technical queries, preparing estimates and job scope changes
</li><li>Attend (As Lead Designer) project Kickoff and Review meetings, Vendor meetings
</li><li>Monitor and coordinate the design team remotely if required and Lead a project in a Multi Office Project Execution Environment (MOPEX)
</li><li>Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with McDermott requirements, Client and Statutory Design Codes, Standards, or Procedures with a particular focus on Health and Safety Policies
</li><li>Develop 3D Models and ensure clash free models in coordination with all other disciplines' requirements
</li><li>Organize design work, including setting up 3D and 2D systems
</li><li>Supervise Designers and Associate Designers
</li><li>Execute relevant administration and filing
</li><li>Check designs, with particular emphasis on interfaces with other disciplines
</li><li>Check designs for operational requirements, constructability, maintainability, and HSE aspects

</li><li>Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of Discipline execution on the assigned project, including scope, deliverables, schedule, and all Discipline workforce resources - agree on allocations with the Engineering Manager

</li><li>Maintain responsibility for progress and productivity, identifying any required corrective action

This is a critical role that requires deep knowledge of drafting standards, excellent AutoCAD skills, and an eye for technical detail.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Develop and update <b>brownfield layouts</b> including underground composite drawings, drainage layouts, and details.</li><li>Prepare <b>civil and structural drawings</b> for new buildings as well as modifications to existing buildings.</li><li>Create <b>GA and detailed drawings</b> of concrete buildings and steel structures, including pipe supports, pipe racks, pipe bridges, platforms, and foundations.</li><li>Prepare detailed drawings of <b>auxiliary steel structures</b> such as handrails, ladders, equipment supports, pits, and cable trenches.</li><li>Conduct <b>site surveys</b> in oil and gas plants (onshore) and reflect findings in engineering deliverables.</li><li>Review and check civil and structural drawings for accuracy and compliance with project standards.</li><li>Prepare <b>structural steel connection detail drawings</b>, Civil and Structural MTOs, and develop procurement and construction MTOs.</li><li>Work closely with engineering teams to ensure design deliverables meet project and client requirements.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></p><ul><li>Diploma/ Bachelors Degree In Civil Engineering, Structural Drafting or related</li><li>Certification in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software is an advantage.</li><li><b>Minimum 12+ years&rsquo; experience</b> in brownfield engineering drawings (Concept, FEED, Detailed Design) within the oil and gas sector, preferably in the Middle East (Qatar).</li><li>Experience working with <b>QatarEnergy</b> is highly desirable.</li><li><b>10+ years of proven expertise in AutoCAD</b> (2D drawings).</li><li>Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering design standards and practices.</li><li>Previous experience in brownfield layout development and building modification projects.</li><li>Proven ability to prepare MTOs for procurement and construction phases.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.</li></ul><p><b>Soft Skills</b></p><ul><li>Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li></ul><p>Contract &amp; Work Details</p><ul><li><b>Contract Duration:</b> 12 Months (Extendable based on project performance)</li><li><b>Working Days:</b> Sunday to Thursday</li><li><b>Location:</b> Onshore, Qatar</li></ul><p><i><b>Please note that applicants should answer the pre-screening questions to be considered for this position</b></i></p><p><i><b>THOSE WHO CAN JOIN IMMEDIATELY SHOULD APPLY.
