</div><div>We are seeking an experienced Advisor, Claims &amp; Risk to provide strategic oversight and hands‑on management of claims and litigation matters, with a primary focus on auto liability. This role plays a critical advisory function across the business, working closely with Legal, Insurance, Finance, and external partners to mitigate risk, manage litigation, and ensure claims are handled efficiently and consistently.

What You'll Do:</h2></div><div><div> 
<ul><li>
Serve as a subject matter expert for all claims submitted to the Claims Department, providing guidance to the business and the Coordinator, Claims &amp; Risk</li><li>
Conduct risk assessments on claims and develop strategies to minimize financial and operational exposure</li><li>
Track, manage, and follow all claims through resolution, including participation in settlement discussions and negotiations</li><li>
Act as the primary contact for all auto liability claims and litigation in collaboration with the Manager, Litigation and Sr. Legal Counsel</li><li>
Work closely with internal insurance teams, TPAs (including ESIS and AXA), and outside counsel to resolve claims and manage litigation</li><li>
Participate in mediations, counsel selection, reserve setting, and claim and litigation reviews</li><li>
Litigation &amp; Legal Support:<ul><li>
Review subpoenas received for the Retail business and coordinate with outside counsel on document collection and recommended objections</li><li>
Draft, review, and assist in negotiating Release and Settlement Agreements, ensuring required approvals are obtained and settlement funds are processed accurately</li><li>
Draft professional correspondence related to claims, including denials, tenders, and settlement communications with internal stakeholders, customers, insurers, and opposing counsel</li><li>
Manage litigated matters within the Legal Department&rsquo;s litigation management database</li></ul></li><li>
Reporting, Systems &amp; Governance:<ul><li>
Prepare and present updates for quarterly meetings with insurance providers, finance (for claim accruals), and TPAs</li><li>
Manage claims data within claims management software, ensuring accurate records, proper system integration, and effective electronic file management</li><li>
Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to the business on open claims and auto litigation</li><li>
Oversee services rendered by TPAs, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and addressing performance issues as needed</li></ul></li><li>

Compensation &amp; Benefits: 
The salary range for this role, in Deerfield, IL , is between $75,300- $105,000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location. 
We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions. The Department of Fleet and Facility Management is seeking an Accident Adjuster to perform inspections of city vehicles involved in accidents to assess damage and prepare cost estimates for repair work, and performs related duties as required. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES<ul><li>
Travels to garage facilities, or accident sites on occasion, to inspect exterior/ body damage to city vehicles involved in accidents including visible mechanical and electrical components; takes notes and photographs of vehicles to document conditions</li><li>
Uses collision estimating software program (i.e. Shoplink ) to prepare cost estimates, entering data on damage to vehicle and the use of new or salvaged parts and related data to generate an estimate on repair cost including cost of body work, mechanical and electrical repairs, cost of parts replacement, labor costs and repair time</li><li>
Works with supervisor and garage manager to coordinate the delivery of damaged vehicles to identified auto-body repair shops for repair work to be completed</li><li>
Travels to repair shops as needed to confer with vendor and inspect vehicle for any additional repair work needed based on tear down and diagnostic assessment of vehicle components</li><li>
Informs supervisor on additional repairs to vehicles quoted by repair shops, confers with supervisor on overall condition and age of car and cost effectiveness of additional repairs; notifies repair shop on whether or not to perform work</li><li>

The Role 
 
The Senior Claims Analyst, Foreign General Liability is responsible for the strategic oversight, governance, and performance management of liability claims handled by our FGL carrier. Liability lines may include, but are not limited to, General Liability, Auto Liability, Products Liability, Professional Liability, and Employer&rsquo;s Liability.
This role ensures that claims are managed in alignment with Hyatt Risk&rsquo;s financial objectives, risk, litigation philosophy, and compliance requirements. While day-to-day claims handling is performed by the carrier the claims manager supports oversight of claim outcomes and provides strategic direction, oversight, and accountability on assigned claims.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Oversee the end‑to‑end handling of Foreign General Liability claims, ensuring efficient resolution, quality investigations, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.</li><li>

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Counsel, Litigation &amp; Claims, the Senior Counsel, Litigation &amp; Claims will:
Resolve a high volume of active claims and potential claims in the United States and Canada, over 80% of which involve allegations of insurance broker professional liability (errors and omissions)<ul><li>
Analyzes new claims and lawsuits, begins factual investigation, identifies key participants and documents, and determines initial strategy.</li><li>
Reviews key documents (contracts, policies, applications, correspondence, complaints/demands, carrier position/reservation of rights letters) relating to the claim.</li><li>
Conducts thorough investigation of facts and interviews Hub employees most knowledgeable of the facts relating to the claim.</li><li>
Determines potential exposure based on liability, alleged damages, fees that may be needed to defend and the applicable law relating to the duties of an insurance broker and other legal issues.</li><li>
Analyzes coverage position of the insurer, determines its merit and engages with insurer as may be appropriate.</li><li>
Prepares reports to management on developments, exposure and potential for resolution.</li><li>
If settlement is appropriate, negotiates with parties and/or counsel.</li><li>
Advises local team and claimant when we have determined there is no legal exposure for Hub.</li><li>
