The Property Damage Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the overall productivity and personnel of the Property Damage Coverage Unit. Scope of the position includes ensuring compliance with State mandated claims handling guidelines, understanding of policy language and coverages, as well as assuring proper investigation and conclusions of claims. Position also includes, monitoring production, staff development and the quality of files assigned to the Unit.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct file and diary reviews for the purpose of monitoring adjuster's work and to assure appropriate documentation is available, fair claim settlement practices are followed, and company quality standards are maintained</li><li>
Place appropriate authority level on claim files based upon determination of coverage, investigation of facts and approve settlement checks within authority</li><li>
Review reports and support the implementation of procedures which improve overall claim settlement process, customer service levels, and ensure that desired quality and quantity levels are maintained</li><li>

This role is responsible for overseeing daily financial processing activities within the Claims department, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely execution of payment‑related workflows. This role provides direct leadership to a team of eight associates who manage check processing, void/stop requests, W-9 and 1099 support, positive pay decisions, escheatment investigations and financial documentation management across multiple systems.
