Trial Court Case Management and Support</b></p><p>
This position will provide professional technical support, leadership, and supervision of the various functions of the clerk's office including processing of all criminal, civil, small claims, minor offense, probate and children's cases. In this capacity, you will assure efficient case flow management, integrity of court records, files, and accounts, effective jury management, in-court procedures, accurate warrant procedure, and collection and disbursement of fines, restitution, and other funds.<br>

Assuring that ACS rules and Third District policies and procedures are followed within the court, you will review statutes, rules, bills, codes, policies, and procedures and apply them as required. You will coordinate closely with the Valdez and Cordova courts as a team to ensure coverage of all essential operations and calendars and occasionally assist other Third District rural courts.</p><p><b><br>
Accounting / Bookkeeping</b></p><p>
This position will be required to balance the cash ledger and journal for the court's trust fund, make deposits, report quarterly and monthly to Fiscal Operations, issue checks and ensure distribution of monies in a timely manner. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to pick up mail from the post office and make bank deposits using their personal vehicle. Reimbursement for mileage will be provided.</p><p><b><br>
External Public Relations and Special Assignments</b></p><p>
You will receive and respond to complaints from the general public, parties, attorneys, judges and others about the Glennallen Trial Court, conduct investigations as necessary to resolve problems, and with the judge, serve as liaison for the court with local public agencies and a variety of organizations on issues of mutual concern.</p><p><b><br>
Facility and Materials Management</b></p><p>
This position will operate, troubleshoot, and update computer systems and records, assure that data is entered correctly and work with information services on all technology-related matters.</p><p><b><br>
The Work Hours</b></p><p>
This position is scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.</p><div></div><p><b><br>

<div><div>The purpose of the job classification (class) is to assist the Criminal Division Supervisor meet short and long-term division goals and to help manage the office by delegating in an efficient and effective manner. The job class is responsible for staff supervision and providing problem solving and technical support for the criminal division. The job class also coordinates workflow, provides training, interprets policy, and delivers reports and updates to division leadership. The job class works within a general outline of work to be performed under general supervision.<br>
</div><ul><li>Provides managerial support to the criminal supervisor (Chief Deputy Clerk I) and other criminal division staff.</li>
<li>Supervises all subordinate staff including, training, assigning, and evaluating work, and provides coaching and counseling to develop staff skill set. Writes and conducts employee performance reviews.</li>
<li>Ensures day-to-day operations of the Criminal Division run smoothly, working with the Lead Office and Courtroom supervisor.</li>
