Utilize AIDET Principles in all patient and provider encounters.&middot; Performing scheduling and insurance coordination duties including processing incoming radiology orders, entering patient demographics, scheduling new patient consultations and follow-up appointments, coordinating pre-certification for imaging studies, process insurance denials, Completing insurance and FMLA forms to obtain physician signatures, and scheduling peer-to-peer reviews.&middot; Document the patient&rsquo;s exam through data entry, report and lab retrieval, scanning and recording the exam details in the electronic medical record system.&middot; Perform computer operations including email, a fax server program, and electronic medical record system. Utilize phone, fax, copier and scanner.&middot; Maintain professional and technical knowledge of medical terminology and radiology protocols.&middot; Must have an understanding of ICD 10 guidelines as well as experience with CPT procedure codes&middot; Maintains acceptable accuracy and productivity rates. Documents all information in the appropriate system fields and/or account notes&middot; Assure that all pre-certification requirements are met on a timely basis. <li>Gives each patient a Pain Questionnaire sheet to fill out</li>
<li>Asks for ID and Insurance card verification from each new patient every visit</li>
<li>Ensures accuracy of patient demographics and insurance information in EMR</li>
<li>Inputs ALL information from new patient packets into patient demographics</li>
<li>Assists in answering phones</li>
<li>Schedules patient clinic appointments</li>
<li>Collects co-pays and balances as directed by Financial Counselor and &ldquo;Co-Pay Sheet&rdquo;</li>
<li>Assists in scanning, if needed</li>
<li>Ensures insurance selection in EMR matches the Payor ID/Claims address on the ID card</li>
<li>Completes follow up calls 48-72 hours after procedures</li>
<li>Completes batching process at the end of each business day.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

<ul><li>Warmly greets patients coming into Clinic</li>
<li>Prints all patient charts for next day</li>
<li>Changes patient status to &ldquo;Arrived&rdquo; on schedule once they sign in</li>
<li>Asks for ID and Insurance card verification from each new patient and once a year</li>

<li>Assists in Scanning if needed</li>

<div>High School diploma or GED required. Six months&rsquo; medical office experience required. Must possess PC proficiency with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and eClinical. Strong data entry skills. Strong customer service skills. Good command of the English language, both verbal and written. Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others. Ability to work independently with detail and accuracy. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables. Ability to effectively give and receive information from patients, providers and other ASPC employees.</div></div><div></div>
