 Clinical Nurse Educator
 
 will be an essential role within the client&rsquo;s field organization. The role of educator will be important to both internal and external audiences. The CNE will be responsible for educating HCPs and pharmacists regarding the client&rsquo;s product(s)&rsquo; safety and efficacy profile, proper utilization and follow-up recommendations. The CNE will be part of the sales team and will coordinate with the Managers on determining priority accounts and pull through activities. The CNE will also assist the Managers in training new sales professionals. These individuals will be part of the client&rsquo;s sales leadership.
 
 
 
 Duties &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 The CNE will assist practices in understanding the safety and efficacy profile of company products, proper utilization of the client&rsquo;s product, i.e. handling all material related to the procedure, instillation procedure, instillation procedure education and training, patient selection criteria, and side effect management education.
 </li>

 The CNE will provide non-CME educational programs (designed by the client) to practices and organizations.
 </li>
 <li>
 The CNE may be asked to assist with initial set-up of office-delivered patient education materials
 </li>
 <li>
 The CNE will be the medical information expert on the sales team in each region
 </li>
 <li>
 The CNE will address issues and questions regarding the client&rsquo;s product(s).
 </li>
 <li>
 The CNE will keep accurate records of accounts visited and items discussed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Each CNE will collaborate with the Sales Managers to develop and maintain a targeted business plan and database for execution for that region.
 </li>

 Up to 60 % travel will be required.

 There will be medical and nursing meetings the CNE will be required to attend on both a national and local level that will require coverage on weekends.

 Each CNE will be responsible for booking travel and hotel stays needed while in the field.

Registered Nurse HU

MAJOR FUNCTIONS: Under general direction, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible under direction of a physician for providing general medical care, preventative care and treatment to patients in one of the agency's clinics. This includes diagnosis, treatment, consultation and follow-up care. This individual attends to the patient's need with the utmost patient care, compassion and understanding. This work is carried out in support of the mission. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Performs routine physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of a physician based on assigned program.</li><li>Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.</li><li>Records accurate medical histories, physical findings and formulates plan and prognosis based on patient's condition. Documentation includes medical evaluations, diagnosis, procedures, treatment, prognosis, referrals, education and consultation.</li><li>Discusses case with physician and other health professionals and therapeutic team to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.</li><li>Submits health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by physician.</li><li>Prescribes medications and monitor effectiveness, or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy or related therapeutic procedures.</li><li>Refers patients to physician or to specialized health resources for treatment.</li><li>Makes patients aware of importance of a healthy lifestyle.</li><li>Educates patients and their families on their preventive care, medical issues and use of prescribed medications and treatments.</li><li>Analyzes new data gained from conferences, training workshops, professional literature and on the job training, where they will assimilate it into their clinical work.</li><li>Keeps abreast of changes in field.</li><li>Performs other duties as requested.</li></ul> REQUIREMENTS: Education, Experience and Skills Required: <ul><li>Master's degree from an accredited advanced Nurse Practitioner program</li><li>At least Two (2) years' experience working as a Nurse Practitioner preferably in addiction medicine or substance use and/or mental health treatment programs</li><li>Knowledgeable about federal and state regulations governing medical/clinical treatment in substance use treatment programs</li><li>Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to patients with a variety of psycho social issues</li></ul> License/Certification Required: <ul><li>NYS RN and NP (Adult and Family specialty areas) licensures.</li><li>Valid DEA registration.</li><li>eMedNY Provider.</li><li>Valid NPI.</li><li>BLS Certification.</li></ul> Preferred Education, License/Certification, Experience and/or Skills: <ul><li>National Board Certification within 12 months of hire.</li><li>ACLS certification.</li><li>Familiarity with OASAS, OMH, and DOH regulations.</li></ul> We are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
