The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) is the founding clinical leader of a new premium speech-language pathology (SLP) platform &mdash; responsible for building, setting the standard for, and continuously elevating clinical excellence across every location we open. You will not inherit a playbook. You will write it.
This is not a traditional SLP practice &mdash; and we are not looking for someone who wants to run one. We are building an environment where the best clinicians in the country can finally do their best work: smaller caseloads, more impactful sessions and a leadership team that treats clinical excellence as the business strategy &mdash; not a constraint on it.

The CCO we are looking for brings a deep, proven track record in speech-language pathology &mdash; and a genuine passion for the intersection of SLP and Applied Behavior Analysis. The majority of our clients will be children on the autism spectrum, and one of our defining clinical advantages will be how seamlessly our SLP team collaborates with the ABA specialists already in each child's life. We are not looking for an ABA expert. We are looking for someone who believes deeply in that collaboration and brings real energy to it.
The CCO will be responsible for the overall clinical vision, quality, and integrity of services across all clinic locations.
The primary mandate is a dual mission: ensuring elite clinical integrity and evidence-based outcomes while aggressively scaling operations across a network of geographically clustered, high-performance boutique centers.
This role provides strategic leadership in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of speech-language pathology services, with a particular emphasis on evidence-based practices for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, while also ensuring high-quality care for a broad range of communication disorders.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
Successful performance in this role will be measured by:<ul><li>Clinical Differentiation: You will build proprietary, integrated treatment programs that produce outcomes families talk about and pediatricians refer to &mdash; without exception, across every center we open.</li><li>Network Expansion: You will serve as the clinical backbone for an aggressive growth trajectory &mdash; 5&ndash;6 boutique centers in the first phase, scaling to 10 locations within year one and 24 by the end of year two.
</li><li>Talent Pipeline: Successful recruitment, &quot;deprogramming,&quot; and retention of specialized SLPs in a scarce labor market. The target is 50+ clinicians and aides within 24 months.</li><li>Reputational Leadership: Establishing the organization as a knowledge leader through university partnerships and published clinical research.</li><li>Payer Relations: Optimizing clinical documentation and outcomes to serve as an expert interface with insurance providers and ASHA.</li></ul>
Clinical Leadership, Innovation, and Strategy<ul><li>Design and execute a comprehensive clinical vision aligned with the organization&rsquo;s mission and growth strategy that merges language expertise with behavioral intervention skills, moving beyond traditional &quot;siloed&quot; therapy.</li><li>Establish and maintain clinical standards, protocols, and evidence-based practices across all locations.</li><li>Ensure services reflect best practices in autism intervention as well as broader speech and language disorders.</li><li>Create science-based curricula, assessment tools, and training videos that utilize augmentative communication (AAC) and novel technologies.</li><li>Establish protocols and supervision structures to ensure &quot;clinical fidelity&quot; (consistency of quality) across all current and future sites.</li></ul>
Quality Assurance &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Oversee clinical quality assurance systems to ensure consistency and excellence across sites.</li><li>Monitor outcomes and implement data-driven improvements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, licensure standards, and payer requirements.</li><li>Lead accreditation efforts and maintain readiness for audits and reviews.</li></ul>
Strategic Growth &amp; Multi-Site Operations<ul><li>Site Launches: Partner with operations leadership to launch 5&ndash;6 smaller, accessible centers designed to meet the high-frequency visit needs of families.</li><li>Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site audits and mentor local Clinical Directors/Lead SLPs to maintain excellence at scale.</li><li>Payer Strategy: Act as the lead clinical voice in negotiations and audits with insurance companies and regulatory bodies (ASHA).</li></ul>
Leadership &amp; Academic Engagement<ul><li>Team Building: Recruit and mentor a high-performing clinical team; foster a culture of accountability, autonomy, and &quot;impact over micromanagement&quot;.</li><li>Academic Ties: Build university partnerships and adjunct opportunities to create a sustainable talent pipeline of graduating SLPs.</li><li>Thought Leadership: Lead efforts for clinical accreditation and represent the organization at national professional forums and in research publications.</li></ul>

Candidate Profile &amp; Requirements:
Education &amp; Certification<ul><li>Preferred: Doctoral degree (PhD) in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field (strongly preferred for research and credibility-building).</li><li>Required: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and current state licensure.</li><li>Highly Valued: Dual certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).</li></ul>

About the role
</h2>The Country Business Leader &ndash; APM will develop and implement business strategies for Advanced Patient Management (APM) across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure sustained growth in platform performance, sales, category share, and profitability. The role is accountable for delivering results in line with the overall business strategy, sales, gross profit (GP), and OIBT targets while strengthening BD&rsquo;s leadership position in the Saudi healthcare market. This position is located in Riyadh.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Main responsibilities will include:</h2><ul><li>
Lead the development and execution of business and marketing plans, pricing policies, sales strategies, and promotional plans for the APM business in Saudi Arabia to meet or exceed sales budget, GP, and OIBT targets.</li><li>
Own demand and material forecasting, budget planning, and ongoing financial forecasting for APM sales and gross profit.</li><li>
Develop and maintain high‑level relationships with government authorities, MOH, public institutions, private sector leaders, and key opinion leaders to influence healthcare policies, funding decisions, and regulatory frameworks while ensuring strong market intelligence and BD brand positioning.</li><li>

Summarize evaluation outcomes into concise, decision‑ready views for product managers and clinical leadership &mdash; including go/no‑go recommendations, key risks, and trends over time (for example where quality is improving or regressing).</li>
<li>Make evaluation repeatable and scalable 
Develop templates, checklists, and playbooks so new AI journeys can plug into existing evaluation patterns, rather than starting from scratch. Work with technical partners to connect these suites to internal evaluation tools and release workflows.</li>
<li>Collaborate cross‑functionally on risk and guardrails 
Partner with product, engineering, data science, clinical, regulatory, and outcomes teams to align on evaluation requirements, launch criteria, and monitoring plans. Proactively anticipate risks, communicate clearly about trade‑offs, and maintain a collaborative mindset.</li>
<li>Support clinical governance and external storytelling

Position Overview
The Clinical Lead, Value-Based Care is a senior clinical leadership role responsible for guiding the clinical strategy, protocol development, and provider education that underpin Vitae Health Systems' value-based care programs &mdash; including the organization's LEAD ACO and related CMS initiatives. This role reports to the Director, Value-Based Care Operations and serves as the clinical authority for VBC program execution.
This individual will work in close partnership with the SVP of Primary Care Clinical Services, who leads clinical governance for the fee-for-service business. While the SVP owns clinical standards across the broader primary care service line, the Clinical Lead, Value-Based Care operates as a dedicated clinical leader focused exclusively on VBC program performance, population health strategy, and cost of care management for the high-needs populations Vitae serves.
The ideal candidate is a licensed Nurse Practitioner with experience in value-based care models, population health, and clinical quality improvement who can bridge the gap between data-driven performance insights and frontline clinical behavior change.
Key Responsibilities
VBC Clinical Strategy &amp; Protocol Development<ul><li>Serve as the primary clinical leader for Vitae's value-based care programs, including the LEAD ACO, providing strategic direction on clinical protocols and care management approaches.</li><li>Develop, refine, and maintain evidence-based clinical protocols designed to improve quality outcomes, reduce unnecessary utilization, and manage total cost of care for high-needs patient populations.</li><li>Partner with the SVP of Primary Care Clinical Services to ensure VBC clinical protocols are integrated with &mdash; and not duplicative of &mdash; enterprise-wide clinical standards.</li><li>Lead clinical input into LEAD ACO program design, including care gap closure strategies, chronic disease management protocols, and transitions of care frameworks.</li><li>Stay current on CMS policy changes, LEAD ACO program requirements, and emerging value-based care models; translate program updates into clinical guidance for internal teams and providers.</li></ul>
Provider Education &amp; Clinical Engagement<ul><li>Design and deliver VBC-specific clinical education programs for primary care providers, including training on ACO quality metrics, documentation requirements, risk adjustment, and care coordination expectations.</li><li>Serve as a trusted clinical resource and educator for providers navigating the shift from fee-for-service to value-based care models.</li><li>Partner with Operations Managers and the Director, Value-Based Care Operations to identify providers or markets where additional clinical education or support is needed.</li><li>Facilitate regular clinical updates, case reviews, and learning sessions to build VBC literacy and clinical engagement across the provider network.</li><li>Support onboarding of new providers by ensuring VBC clinical expectations, protocols, and documentation standards are clearly communicated from day one.</li></ul>

Requirements 
Required<ul><li>Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure; board certification required (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent).</li><li>Minimum of five (5) years of clinical practice experience, with at least two (2) years in a value-based care, population health, or ACO-related role.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of CMS value-based care models, including ACO structures, quality reporting requirements, and cost of care benchmarks.</li><li>Experience developing or implementing clinical protocols, care management programs, or provider education curricula.</li><li>Familiarity with claims data, utilization metrics, and population health analytics as tools for clinical decision-making.</li><li>Strong clinical communication skills with the ability to engage and educate providers across a distributed network.</li></ul>
