This is an entry level position that provides administrative and coordination support for multiple projects in the conduct of clinical research projects. This position may assist with study coordination but will not be assigned clinical trials independently. This position may provide coordination for clinical research projects such as registries, retrospective data reviews, studies in long-term follow-up, and other non-interventional studies.</p><ul><li>

The Lab Technician is critical in supporting the Clinical Research Coordinators and the research team in providing an impeccable patient experience in every interaction. Your role will primarily be focused on performing clinical work, more specifically, blood draws, which are a critical diagnostic component of the clinical research process. Other responsibilities may include a variety of tasks, from patient recruitment, source documentation, data entry, and direct patient interaction during site visits.<br>

<b>Shift: </b>Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM<br>
<b>Location: </b>20755 Greenfield Road, Suite 107, Southfield, MI 48075<br>
<b>Compensation:</b> $25-27/hr depending on experience<br>

<b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li>
Perform phlebotomy, handle and organize specimens, and assist with storage and shipment.</li><li>
Other clinical diagnostic work, such as vital signs, EKGs, etc.</li><li>
Assist in the recruitment, screening, and enrollment of study participants.</li><li>
Coordinate and manage the scheduling of trials and maintain communication with participants.</li><li>
Collect, organize, and process clinical data from trials.</li><li>
Maintain source documentation from patient visits and protocol activities</li><li>
Work alongside clinical research coordinators to conduct patient visits.</li><li>
Learn, understand, and comply with rules and regulations governing medical ethics, IRB, GCP, and ICH guidelines</li><li>
Provide administrative support to research staff by organizing meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.</li></ul><div><b>
QUALIFICATIONS</b><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required</li><li>
Must have 1+ years of Lab Tech experience required</li><li>
Experience as a Phlebotomist</li><li>
Clinical research experience is a plus, but not required</li><li>
Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail, and people skills, as you will be interacting directly with patients</li><li>
