<b>A Brief Overview</b><br>
The Clinical Specialist/Physical Therapist shall be responsible for assisting with the coordination, promotion, assessment, and interventions related to the scope of rehabilitation services. In addition, this individual also provides a full range of discipline specific therapy services including patient assessment, treatment, and treatment planning in an interdisciplinary team environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. The specific percentage of work time spent on rehabilitation interventions versus other therapy treatment will be determined through a collaborative effort between the director and clinical specialist based on the service needs of the healthcare environment. The CS/PT will demonstrate accountability for the contribution to program development, quality improvement of clinical competencies, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. The Clinical Specialist/Physical Therapist will conduct staff and community in-services and educational conferences to increase staff and community knowledge of the specialty. The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $65,500 up to the maximum of $126,300. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. This role includes continuous monitoring and evaluation of respiratory care practices in collaboration with departmental leadership and the medical team. A key responsibility is ensuring that staff receive the necessary education, resources, and guidance to deliver high-quality care using diverse therapeutic modalities.</p><p>
The Clinical Specialist manages new employee orientation, coordinates in-service sessions and departmental training, and supports interdisciplinary education as needed. Serving as the clinical expert in respiratory therapy, the incumbent provides guidance to respiratory staff, leadership teams, and ancillary departments. Additional duties include developing, maintaining, and updating respiratory-related protocols, policies, and educational materials, as well as assessing and prioritizing ongoing learning needs within the department.</p><p>

Summary:</b></p>
<p>
The Clinical Specialist is a focused individual who has a passion for patient care and physician and staff education. This person will proctor cases to excellence and independently cover CVAC procedures, training the surgical team on the safe and effective uses of the device. The Clinical Specialist works closely with the surgical team members to provide clinical product assistance to the surgeon by being familiar with the surgical procedure, instruments, supplies, and equipment.</p>

The Clinical Specialist will train the surgical team on instrument preparation prior to cases and during the surgical procedure. This role will manage inventory needs in the account and any accompanying administrative requirements.</p>

This role is not considered for pathway to a Territory Sales Manager at Calyxo Inc, due to the tenure and experience required to execute the Territory Sales Manager role.</p>

This position can cover any CVAC case in the territory, region, or at times, the nation, as assigned. The Clinical Specialist will also provide clinical support for physician training and sales training programs.</p>

In This Role, You Will:</b></p>

<li>Train the surgical team to assist in good patient outcomes and verbally support cases during training period</li>
<li>Acquire and maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practice and hospital policies and procedures</li>
