As an integral part of the clinical care team, the Patient Care Associate is responsible for patient care and support activities promoting patient focused care within the Specialty Service. The Patient Care Associate supports the registered nurse in patient care activities, such as: assisting patient with activities of daily living, collecting specimens and performing procedures; maintaining a safe, clean environment; and other duties as needed.</p><b><br>

A. Clinical/Technical/Service</b><br>

<b>Major Responsibilities:</b> Supervision of Clinical Support Staff 1)Hires, trains and directs support staff in business operations. Performs performance reviews. <b>1)Oversees daily aspects of office functioning:</b> space allocation, supply chain, phone assignments, equipment functioning. 2)Monitors day to day activities, level of service, and technical performance of support staff. 7)Acts as the Department Safety Liaison; attends safety and security committee meetings.
