Inspects coated material for defects and conformance to WAM visual specifications by performing the following duties.</p><p><b>
What you'll do</b></p><ul><li>
Visually examines and feels surface of rubber coated, adhesive, topcoat, and pretreat/primer of material to detect defects such as margin issues, scratches, bubbles, and other blemishes.</li><li>
 Records all defects and necessary information on hourly and defect logs</li><li>
Communicates with Coating Line Operators for any issues with the material.</li><li>
Cuts material samples at beginning and ending of each master coil.</li><li>

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div><ul>
<li>Perform inspection of all surface preparation and coating application activities on meter station piping, equipment, structural steel, and associated components</li>
