Responsibilities and qualifications are aligned with industry standards for commercial HVAC project management.Key Responsibilities:Project Management<ul><li>Manage HVAC and mechanical construction projects from award through project closeout.</li><li>Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and manpower plans.</li><li>Monitor project performance, productivity, and financial results.</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.</li><li>Identify risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain project objectives.</li></ul>Financial Management<ul><li>Prepare and manage project budgets and cost forecasts.</li><li>Review and approve purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and vendor contracts.</li><li>Manage project billing, monthly requisitions, and cash flow.</li><li>Negotiate and process change orders.</li><li>Track project costs and maintain profitability targets.</li></ul>Technical Coordination<ul><li>Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.</li><li>Coordinate HVAC equipment procurement and long-lead material deliveries.</li><li>Work closely with BIM/VDC, fabrication, field operations, and engineering teams.</li><li>Resolve design and field coordination issues.</li><li>Ensure systems are installed according to contract documents and project requirements.</li></ul>Client &amp; Team Leadership<ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants.</li><li>Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates.</li><li>Collaborate with field foremen, superintendents, and project engineers.</li><li>Mentor and develop junior project management staff.</li><li>Foster strong client relationships that support future business opportunities.</li></ul>Project Closeout<ul><li>Oversee commissioning, startup, testing, balancing, and owner training activities.</li><li>Ensure completion of punch-list items and closeout documentation.</li><li>Coordinate warranties, as-built drawings, and final turnover packages.</li><li>Support post-construction service transition activities.</li></ul>Qualifications:Required<ul><li>5+ years of experience managing commercial HVAC or mechanical construction projects.</li><li>Strong understanding of HVAC systems, piping, controls, and mechanical equipment.</li><li>Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and contracts.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.</li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout New England.</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.</li><li>Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.</li><li>Experience in healthcare, life sciences, higher education, laboratory, and large commercial projects.</li><li>Familiarity with BIM coordination and prefabrication methodologies.</li><li>OSHA 30 certification.</li></ul>Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>managing HVAC construction projects: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
