</ul><ul><li>Perform quantity takeoffs for landscape, hardscape, grading, and site work</li>
</ul><ul><li>Build detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment &amp; subcontractors (usually only irrigation)</li>

The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for accurately calculating project costs for design build and plan and spec mechanical systems in construction, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems. This role will involve reviewing project documentation, gathering necessary data, and working closely with our divisional estimators, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive and accurate bids.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction or mechanical contracting industry.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping) and construction methodologies.</li><li>
Well versed in both Plan &amp; Spec and Design build mechanical systems.
</li><li>Candidate should have the ability to take off a designed or complete a system design in VAV and VRF systems, Heat Load calculations, and Mechanical &amp; Plumbing piping.
</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and technical specifications.</li><li>
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., FastDUCT, Trimble, CHVAC Load Calculation software) and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.</li><li>
