The Interior Designer supports new construction and renovation projects across a long-term care healthcare portfolio of over 150 locations in the Southeast. This position partners closely with the Corporate Architect to implement interior design solutions that align with corporate standards, operational needs, durability requirements, and resident experience goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
1. Support interior design for new construction, renovations, and capital improvement projects across the portfolio.
 2. Prepare interior concept packages, space plans, finish plans, and presentation materials under direction of the Corporate Architect.

SUMMARY

As a Commercial Furniture Dealer Designer, you work on projects of increasing size and complexity helping to create exceptional workplace environments. You play a key role in project success, working closely with clients, A&amp;D designers, and HB Account Managers to identify and fulfill programming needs. Utilizing the MillerKnoll family of brands you select, specify and space plan furniture layouts that harmonize with the interior design of the environment. You lead the design portion of projects by evaluating client needs, formulating design concepts then presenting your proposed layouts and furniture selections to the client. Once the design is finalized, you create complete and accurate drawings and specifications that follow HB Workplaces design process and our cycle of service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

<li>Complete small to medium size commercial furniture projects start to finish.</li>
<li>Create and develop furniture layouts utilizing commercial workplace strategies.</li>
<li> Evaluate client needs and determine the scope of services required through in-person or virtual meetings with the Account Manager and client.</li>
<li> Partner with Account Manager to complete detailed inventories and accurate field measures.</li>
<li> Select products based on proper application then generate furniture layouts, typicals and budget estimates.</li>
<li> Follow building, fire &amp; ADA codes as they relate to furniture.
 </li><li>Present to client in person and virtually using CET.</li>
<li> Determine the color, material and finish palette for all products.
 </li><li>Produce complete drawings using AutoCAD and CET.
 </li><li>Create accurate furniture specifications using current price books, planning guides and client standards.</li>
<li> Request furniture specials, vendor quotes and COMs as needed.
 </li><li>Finalize and generate all necessary drawings and project documents required for installation.
 </li><li>Complete project closeouts, correct punch issues, and update master drawings.</li>
<li> Maintain project status in Microsoft Planner.</li>
<li> Enter billable hours daily in Core.</li></ul>
