<ul><li>This position will oversee a territory from West LA through the San Fernando Valley. Branch base is in Simi Valley, CA. Candidates living in and/or around the specified territory is highly preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>RESPONSIBILITIES of Account Managers will include, but not limited to:</li></ul>
<ul><li>Create strong relationships with our customers through communication and service, ensuring they receive quality, timely service on their projects</li>
<li>Manage crew members as needed including: morning dispatch, performance management, addressing complaints, and planning, assigning or directing work load</li>
<li>Provide proactive site quality reviews and communicate assessments internally and externally</li>
<li>Network and earn referrals to help the branch achieve its new growth objectives</li>
<li>Lead the branch in growing its base contracts in the targeted market segments and geographic locations</li>
<li>Assist the branch team in achieving its overall objectives of quality, retention, growth and profitability</li>
</ul>
Are you the right fit for this role?
<ul><li>SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE that are necessary as an Account Manager will include, but not limited to:</li></ul>
<ul><li>3 years+ of client &amp; crew management experience within the commercial landscape industry with a proven track record of managing a large client portfolio is highly preferred</li>
<li>2 or 4-year college degree in a related field and/or, have a minimum of 2-3 years landscape/horticulture experience preferred to include training and managing multiple crew members/gardeners</li>
<li>3 years of strong customer service, sales and communication experience, or combined comparable experience</li>
<li>Sound time management and organizational skills with a strong work ethic</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal verbal &amp; written skills are a must with the ability to write and present proposals and bids</li>
<li>Experience in consultative sales to clients for additional services</li>
<li>Spanish Bilingual is highly preferred to communicate effectively with crew members</li>

SALARY RANGE:
<ul><li>$75,000 - $88,000 per year (specific compensation may vary based on overall skills, experience and location)</li>

Ground Works Land Design is seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Foreman to lead a crew performing a range of property maintenance services. This role is ideal for a skilled laborer with experience in commercial mowing, landscaping, groundskeeping, and client interactions. Property Maintenance Foreman &gt; Production Manager or Account Manager &gt; Operations Manager 
 
Starting Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00 + Salary (contingent on experience) 
 
*REQUIRED* Valid Driver's license with minimal incidents or points in the last 3 years

</ul>Duties/Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>Operate lawn maintenance equipment, such as zero turn mowers, line trimmers, stick edgers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers to complete property maintenance services</li>
<li>Perform seasonal pruning, lawn and landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall clean ups</li>
<li>Perform Snow Season duties, plowing, shoveling, and spreading salt when needed</li>
<li>Communicate with clients to address customer concerns and relay client needs to the Account Manager</li>
<li>Train crew members to properly use equipment and perform job duties to the Ground Works Land Design standard</li>
<li>Properly record hours and work accomplished in our job management application, Buildertrend</li>
<li>Performs all other duties as assigned</li>
<li>Job Title a.k.a. Lawn Mowing Foreman, Grounds Maintenance Foreman, Mowing Crew Leader</li>
</ul>Qualifications and Experience: 
<ul><li>Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial mowing, landscaping, or grounds keeping</li>
<li>Proficiently operates a variety of lawn maintenance equipment, such as zero turn mowers, line trimmers, stick edgers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, chainsaws, etc.</li>
<li>Has an advanced knowledge of plants, seasonal pruning, lawn and landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall clean up</li>
<li>Snow work experience like plowing or spreading salt is a plus</li>
<li>Able to work successfully with limited supervision</li>
<li>Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment a plus</li>
<li>Able to analyze diverse problems and consistently make proper decisions</li>
</ul>Physical Requirements: 
<ul><li>Able to lift more than 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders for periods of time</li>
<li>Able to stand for long periods of time</li>
</ul>
