Responsibilities:

Prepare and code manuscripts for design and typesetting</li><li>
Hire and supervise freelance copyeditors, proofreaders, and indexers, and review their work</li><li>
Review and collate author, editor, and proofreader corrections in Adobe Acrobat</li><li>
Copyedit, proofread, and route jacket and cover materials from original copy through final proof

This is primarily a post-production role - approximately 70% of your time will be spent editing, with the remaining 30% supporting production efforts on set.
