Akerman is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support its Commercial Real Estate Practice, focusing on contract administration, title insurance issuance, and closings for commercial land and lot acquisitions and dispositions on behalf of homebuilders and developers. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail‑oriented, and demonstrate a strong take‑control/ownership approach to managing files in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. The applicant would be working on a team of attorneys and paralegals, and would be expected to work in the office at least three (3) days per week.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

<li>Reviewing, preparing, and analyzing title requirements and exceptions from coverage in connection with title commitment and policy issuance, and preparation of title summaries concerning same;</li>

<li>Coordinating the execution and delivery of such closing documents and related funds by the respective parties to transactions;</li>

Qualifications:
