In this dynamic role, you will handle single and multi-party commercial surety claims of low to moderate complexity by following established protocols to ensure that claims are handled in the most efficient, effective way while delivering a customer-centric claims service. Using your strategic mindset, you will:</p><br>

Manage commercial surety claims from start to finish with a focus on quality, efficiency, and service excellence, with coaching and moderate supervision</li><li>
Analyze liability, exposure, bond obligations, and damages by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and utilizing applicable law</li><li>
Build claim strategies to drive timely, high-quality claim resolutions</li><li>
Set and monitor reserves throughout the claim lifecycle using analytical judgment</li><li>
Negotiate settlements by establishing appropriate negotiation strategy and utilizing available tools and resources within authority limits</li><li>
Deliver clear, timely communication to stakeholders throughout the claim process</li><li>
Manage vendors and expenses through approved networks</li><li>
Ensure compliance, confidentiality, and ethical claim handling</li><li>
Identify potential subrogation and fraud and escalate appropriately</li><li>
Share claim trends and insights to support business growth and risk management</li><li>

Basic Qualifications:</p><br>

Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area<br>
OR</li><li>
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and 3 or more years of experience in Claims or Insurance area<br>
OR</li><li>
Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area<br>
OR</li><li>
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area<br>
AND</li><li>
Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)</li><li>
Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products</li><li>

Ability to make sound, independent business and credit decisions.</li><li>
A background in wealth or commercial lending/underwriting is preferred. Familiarity with esoteric collateral asset classes including, but not limited to illiquid/concentrated stock, aircraft, unsecured, life insurance, alternative assets, art, etc. is a plus - especially LIPF experience.</li><li>
Experience in capital markets, commercial/corporate/investment banking, commercial real estate lending or similar is desired.</li></ul><p><b><br>
