POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with the architectural, engineering and specifier community to educate about Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC (METUS) products and their applications, along with increase the number of specifications, and subsequent sales within an assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
<ul><li>Perform direct and joint sales calls to develop relationships with local architects, engineers, and contractors&mdash;educating them on applying CITY MULTI Variable Refrigerant Flow systems and other Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC products.</li>
<li>Deliver educational presentations to architects, engineers, contractors, and commercial sales channels.</li>
<li>Occasional job site visits to support customers and service group members.</li>
<li>Participate in local professional networking groups, industry associations, and industry trade shows.</li>
<li>Enter and maintain customer information, activities, and quotations in SalesForce Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) or other systems as required.</li>
<li>Manage project pipeline ensuring that they are tracked within the SalesForce CRM system.</li>
<li>Willing to travel up to 40% to for various Company meetings and training both domestically and possibly internationally.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>2-5 years technical sales experience.</li>
<li>Familiarity with local HVAC commercial sales channels, engineers, and contractors preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans.</li>
<li>Proficient with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and other Microsoft Office products.</li>
<li>Proficient public speaking skills.</li>
<li>Familiarity with HVAC application and design is preferred.</li>
<li>Must reside in the Business Unit Geography.</li>
<li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License with acceptable driving record.</li>

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $72,800 and $100,100/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions of 30% of total compensation calculated as achievement against annual revenue targets, incentive compensation and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee&rsquo;s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.

<div>The ideal candidate will prospect, pitch, and close new westbound business development opportunities at one of most dynamic and creative ports on the US West Coast. Working along multiple business lines including but not limited to automotive, breakbulk, bulk, container, project, and rail cargo opportunities, you will lead the growth of the port&rsquo;s westbound business portfolio. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Maritime Commercial Trade and is joined by a creative and nimble Trade team dedicated to providing excellent customer service and flexible solutions. This is a high-activity sales and marketing role with significant outreach within the US Southwest including some overseas travel. Qualified candidates must be able to make presentations, provide sound economic foundations for prospective business opportunities that match the environmental goals of the Port and build on the diversified cargo portfolio of the organization.

THE JOB:
We are seeking a Staff Commercial Data Engineer to architect and elevate the Marketing and Revenue Management data platforms that power commercial decision-making across Gaming, Hospitality, Loyalty, and Marketing. This is a senior technical role responsible for defining the architectural direction of our Lakehouse ecosystem, ensuring reliability and governance standards, and mentoring engineering teams to build world-class data products. As the architectural owner of domain-wide data models and certified datasets, you will drive metric consistency, platform scalability, and business-aligned data solutions in close partnership with Data Science, Analytics, IT, and commercial leadership.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:<ul><li>
Serve as the architectural owner for Marketing and Revenue Management data models, metric definitions, and semantic consistency across commercial domains</li><li>
Design and maintain certified, curated datasets aligned to business logic and executive reporting standards</li><li>
Architect and optimize high-scale Lakehouse solutions for performance, governance, cost, and lineage</li><li>
Define conventions for partitioning, Z-ordering, file compaction, cluster sizing, and workload orchestration</li><li>
Build reusable ingestion, validation, and orchestration frameworks</li><li>
Establish observability standards including freshness SLAs, anomaly detection, and schema drift monitoring</li><li>
Implement automated quality gates, impact analysis, and self-healing workflows</li><li>
Own performance tuning strategies across batch, streaming, and high-volume analytics workloads</li><li>
Lead high-severity incident response and drive long-term remediation strategies</li><li>
Mentor engineers and influence cross-functional platform modernization initiatives</li></ul>
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:<ul><li>
7+ years of prior relevant experience in data engineering, data platform, or analytics engineering roles</li><li>
5+ years of prior relevant hands-on experience in Databricks or equivalent Spark environments</li><li>
Expertise in Databricks and Lakehouse architecture</li><li>
Strong coding proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL</li><li>
Experience with Unity Catalog governance and permissions</li><li>
Proven implementation of data quality frameworks and observability standards</li><li>
Deep knowledge of Delta Lake internals and distributed data processing</li><li>
Experience defining SLAs, anomaly detection, and automated monitoring frameworks</li><li>
Expertise in performance tuning, workload isolation, partitioning strategies, and compute optimization</li><li>
Strong understanding of modeling patterns for analytics and operational systems</li><li>
Experience building production-grade pipelines, reusable libraries, modular code standards, version control, and automated testing</li><li>
Familiarity with Terraform, Airflow, and Databricks Workflows</li><li>
Domain experience in Gaming &amp; Hospitality Operations, Loyalty &amp; Customer Engagement, or Marketing &amp; Commercial Analytics preferred</li><li>

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is:
$106,000.00 - $141,400.00
This range represents a good faith estimate of the salary range that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
This position is eligible to participate in the Company&rsquo;s incentive plan.
