Job Summary 
Manage communication and social media for the Office of Provost. Specifically, this position is responsible for creating, planning and executing communication strategies and initiatives to drive awareness of the provost's priorities. It provides strategic marketing consultation to the provost and Academic Affairs leadership team and facilitates effective communication between the provost and a variety of stakeholders (faculty, staff, administration, students, board of trustees, donors, and others) through the use of websites, print collateral, and social media. This position reports to the Vice Provost of Academic Affairs. 
 
Please be advised: This position is temporarily funded and will be renewed on an annual basis based on funding availability, business need, and performance. Additionally, due to the nature of the work, this position is 100% in-person, on-campus. 
 
Job Responsibilities: 
Content management (40%) 
<ul><li>
Develop, implement, and sustain annual communication strategy across several platforms including the provost's website, e-mail, and social media</li><li>
Write, edit and proofread web content for the Office of Provost website</li><li>
Work with divisional leadership and colleagues to develop and organize content to engage and inform faculty, staff, administrators and other stakeholders</li><li>
Review/Edit or Create and Distribute messages from the entire division of Academic Affairs</li><li>
Review/Edit or Create and Distribute messages regarding new dean announcements or other senior leadership</li><li>
Continuously evaluate and improve display and organization of website content</li><li>
Work with developers to troubleshoot any technical challenges in displaying web content</li><li>
Liaison with central marketing as division contact</li><li>
Manages website upgrades and redevelopment projects</li><li>
Develops schedule of web content audits</li><li>
Develops tactics for driving traffic to the website and improving usability</li><li>
Maintain currency of best practices in the field of content management and apply that knowledge to daily and strategic operations</li></ul>

The Marketing &amp; Communications Specialist is responsible for working with the Business Development team to reinforce the company's internal and external branding through print, web, and in-person advertising. This candidate supports the marketing efforts in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities: This is a hybrid position, and candidates must have prior experience as an Oral Surgery Assistant to be considered.

<div>Marketing and Communications Specialist-</div>

The Marketing &amp; Communications Specialist is responsible for working with the Business Development team to reinforce the company's internal and external branding through print, web, and in-person advertising. This candidate supports the marketing efforts in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities: This is a hybrid position, and candidates must have prior experience as an Oral Surgery Assistant to be considered.

<li>Enhance and maintain social media presence and develop programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.</li>
<li>Support referral call cycle to enhance and strengthen key referral relationships for oral surgeons.</li>
<li>Collaborate with doctors and staff to coordinate marketing activities and support throughout region with referral networks.</li>
<li>Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns on-time and within budget.</li>
<li>Report on campaign performance by analyzing data and creating presentations to deliver to upper management.</li>
<li>Plan and coordinate continuing education events, trips, and other referral activities.</li>
<li>Prepare online and print media.</li>
<li>Work with vendors to design and create a wide range of different marketing and promotional materials that support campaigns and specific target audiences.</li>
<li>Maintain an effective level of internal communication to ensure all relevant company personnel are kept informed of marketing initiatives and objectives.</li>
<li>Monitor all business review pages such as Yelp, Healthgrades, Google, etc. and report any significant findings, patterns of performance or positive employee reviews to upper management.</li>
<li>Have input on website development and maintain timely updates to ensure effectively support of SEO strategies.</li>
<li>Ability to gain and understand dental implant protocols and internal workflows so that supported practices receive important communication in a timely manner.</li></ul>

 The Communications Specialist is responsible for implementing a communication strategy for the membership programs that ensures effective, consistent, and timely communication resulting in the favorable positioning of the company, associated brands, and business entities. Develop and manage internal communication to ensure that the branding and communication activities are aligned and support the overall strategies, with measurable interventions to ensure effectiveness.

 Content Creation and Management

 Lead all communication plans and calendars and is the focal point of contact for all membership communications matters in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications Department

 Create digital and print materials that highlight membership benefits, upcoming events, and exclusive content for members.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proofread all communications materials for online and print distribution to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
 </li>
 <li>
 Direct and oversee the work of remote contractors appointed for membership comms and marketing, where applicable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop indicators for success and evaluate results and monitor analytics to evaluate successes and identify areas for improvement with communications campaigns and strategies.

 Event Communications &amp; Coordination
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support communications for member-exclusive events, such as private tours, workshops, and special previews, ensuring members receive timely and relevant information.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in creating pre- and post-event content, such as event highlights and testimonials, to enhance engagement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the team with member communication such as, but not limited to, the development of response templates, welcome letters, retention and renewal letters.
 </li>

 Digital &amp; Social Media Engagement &ndash; In collaboration with the Marketing Team
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage social media content related to memberships by working with the social media team to showcase member experiences and exclusive perks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze social media engagement data to identify opportunities for increasing member visibility and expanding the online membership community.
 </li>
 <li>
 Generate ideas for digital content, such as behind-the-scenes videos, member stories, or interviews with the Marketing team, to share the value of membership across platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate the updating of content for the Membership section of the Company's website, and all newsletters, push notifications from the CRM system and the app, to members.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Collaboration &amp; Cross Departmental Coordination
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Partner with the membership, marketing, and visitor services teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment on initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with in house designers to create visually appealing materials that support membership communications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all materials reflect respective brand identity in terms of communications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review first drafts and make revisions based on the feedback received.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints or digital copies reflect specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the Head of Memberships in special projects, including collaboration on major campaigns, new member initiatives, and partnerships.
