We aim to accelerate joint learning and promote integrated approaches that address the interconnected economic, social, and environmental challenges confronting the world.</p><p>
The SDSN works closely with United Nations agencies, multilateral financing institutions, the private sector, and civil society. It is directed by Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs and operates through offices in New York, Paris, and Kuala Lumpur.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
About the Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (CEET)</b></p><p>
Under the auspices of the United Nations Secretary-General, the SDSN, in partnership with UNIDO, hosts the Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (CEET): a global, high-level body of engineers and energy systems experts contributing to the UN Secretary-General&rsquo;s goal of building a coalition to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. The CEET was launched in September 2021 and is co-chaired by Gerd M&uuml;ller, Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and Professor Jeffrey Sachs, President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). The work of the CEET is undertaken by an independent and impartial council of recognized global experts, serving in their personal capacity and responding to requests for information by the UN System.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Position Summary</b></p><p>
The SDSN is seeking a proactive, dynamic, and creative intern to assist the Climate and Energy (C&amp;E) team, including the Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (CEET) with several social media and communications campaigns related to the global energy transition. Under the supervision of the CEET Project Manager, this position will help promote and disseminate C&amp;E outputs, support internal and external communications efforts, and enhance the visibility of the CEET through digital content creation, graphic design, editing materials, and event logistics and support.</p><p>

Job Description</b></p><p></p><p>
Communication Intern will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>
Support communication team for implementation of internal and external communication activities including close follow-up of all necessary procedures and logistic details.</li><li>
Support organization of events related to corporate communications strategies and programs, including corporate social responsibility initiatives.</li><li>
Support leveraging internal and external communication channels including writing, editing and uploading text and multimedia content.</li><li>
Work closely with the team to ensure monitorization, coordination, and successful execution major programs and operational duties.</li><li>
Play an active role in communication with 3rd party vendors including creative &amp; PR agencies.</li><li>
Supporting corporate materials and uploading them into Lilly&rsquo;s systems on time and following required approvals properly in accordance with global and local procedures</li><li>
Support team meetings and communication related agenda; coordinate delivering meeting minutes and follow-up actions with related parties.</li><li>
Be responsible for supporting ad-hoc analysis and reports.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
What Are the Requirements?</b></p><ul><li>
3rd or 4th year university student or fresh graduates from reputable universities in related fields (Media, Communication, Journalism is an asset)</li><li>
Basic awareness or curiosity about <b>AI tools</b> and their use in communication or analysis.</li><li>
Previous exposure to <b>CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)</b> projects (through university projects, volunteering, or internships) is a plus.</li><li>
Familiarity with <b>social media platforms</b> and basic social media account management (content posting, follow-up, engagement).</li><li>
Willingness to learn corporate communication processes, tools, and approval systems.</li><li>
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</li><li>
Being proactive and demonstrate a positive attitude.</li><li>
Ability to plan and priority setting.</li><li>
Strong communications skills - written and verbal, as well as interpersonal.</li><li>
Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills.</li><li>
Ability to work on multiple tasks.</li><li>
Eager to learn through experience.</li><li>
Fluency in English is a must.</li><li>
Very good use of MS Office programs and other related software and ability to adapt internal tools.</li><li>
