</p></li><li><p>Supports establishment of Project Design Management Plan, Project Execution Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
</p></li><li><p>Establishes the Project requirements for assigned project areas and is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of:
</p><ul><li>Project design briefs for team reference.
</li><li>Third party design consultant&rsquo;s project KPIs and design deliverables in support of the design brief.
</li><li>Administering value management and value engineering activities, and ensures design solutions fully address and incorporate safety, constructability, environmental and sustainability considerations.
</li></ul></li><li><p>Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project; ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.
</p></li><li><p>Works with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of any such changes.
</p></li><li><p>Provides support in maintaining current and timely change orders associated with third party design consultants.
</p></li><li><p>Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.
</p></li><li><p>Monitors and reports to senior management on the progress of all project design activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
</p></li><li><p>Establishes weekly Design Management team meetings to review project status and formulate action items.
</p></li><li><p>Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing; experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, and presentations for the client and briefings for project senior management team.
</p></li><li><p>Ability to articulate the required qualifications of key project design positions with senior management; assisting with identification of resources needed to form project design teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What Required Skills You'll Bring:
</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Architecture/ Engineering (Civil, MEP, Structural) or related technical/business field.
</p></li><li><p>15+ years of related engineering and design management experience on large scale programs, with 10+ years of experience in Buildings/Facilities (retail, hospitality, tall tower), Entertainment, Theme Parks large scale projects; management of international design consultants is desirable.
</p></li><li><p>10+ years in construction environment is must that includes complex buildings/facilities, high quality buildings in retail, residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to perform in a supervisory/managerial capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
</p></li><li><p>Ability to function in a multi-organizational environment by developing relationships that complies with the client&rsquo;s proactive, collaborative culture.
</p></li><li><p>Must have the ability to develop strong working relationships with third party design consultants, interface and coordinate project performance with other disciplines, interpret and deliver client's vision, and proactively manage the design process and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.
</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards.
</p></li><li><p>Professional registration preferred (AIA, RIBA, CEng, PE, LEED or similar).
</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications.
